Really sad that these tea party nuts, who supposedly will defend the Constitution to the death, can't even respect basic freedom of speech.

I know right? Its like that guy who walked through the tea party crowd with the "Public Option" sign and basically got mobbed.
As always, lets the facts come out. this has nothing to do with free speech, and everything to do with Security. Funny that YOU are unable to see who the nutball is here

Actually, she stormed Rand Paul 4 seconds after he got out of his car.....I hope anyone else would do the same for me when charged by a he-she wearing a red shirt.

Night Strike wrote:Notice how as soon as the guy did that stupid move, the other supporters immediately told him to stop? I didn't see any egging on or support for that action. For some reason, this didn't happen in places like St. Louis where SEIU members attacked a black man and didn't stop until outside people got involved. Furthermore, their statements indicated that the woman was trying to rush Paul (or someone else) and the crowd stopped her, which is why the scuffle occurred in the first place.
Agreed. Not a single punch was thrown, nor even was a fist presented.

In fact, every single aspect, by every single person involved, yells RESTRAINT. Nobody will apologize for that. Once the Moveon.Org He-she charged the good Doctor Paul, she gave every single person in the crowd the green light to kick on the adrenaline because something is going down, and it was at her time of choosing, and nobody elses. Moveon.org went down.

And what Saxi said, absolutely.

1. There is no organisation called "The Tea Party" anymore than there is an organisation called "the Civil Rights Movement." There is no "President" of "the Civil Rights Movement."
2. The "founder" of the "Tea Party movement" is generally considered to be either the Illinois Libertarian Party or Keli Carender, a teacher from Seattle.
His website refers to his organization as "The Tea Party." So yes there is an organization named "The Tea Party" and he is the founder of such an organization. If I were to refer a Mark Williams calling Allah a "monkey God" and apologizing to Hindus after for insulting their "real Monkey God, I would have said he was the Tea Party Express leader.
seriously. I will help you out here. About once a month, a newb comes into this forum and carries some harsh opinion on the Tea Party. The thing you do not realize is.....EVERY SINGLE INCIDENT related to the tea party has been discussed here 3 different ways, and then picked apart by 45 people for a week straight. You would do well to cease comments, check back through all the 1000's of posts about the Tea Party, and then cmon back. Honestly, it's probably the most informative way you could ever learn about it and the events as they happened and what motivated them as well as why you can not label an entire movement by the actions of 1 person, or on this case, a severe lack of any action whatsoever.

Great find!

This sycophant shoves her way through a security line with undeclared intent toward a federal candidate who has received death threats. I wonder what would happen if an unknown person charged toward pre-White House Barack Obama, refusing verbal commands to stop, when he was campaigning? Would security have offered said person a shoulder massage?

Hate to say it - and I know I'm going to be the only one supporting this - but I'm honestly a little sad that this wasn't just a case of direct action by Paul supporters. The MoveOn gaggle risk nothing of themselves by delivering daily fellatio to the institutional, entrenched leadership, galumphing after them like the obedient lap dogs they are ... I'm qualified to note that a few public bone breakings always deflates the numbers of the ideologically weak.

Besides, She-Ra's hero, Obama, is ordering the execution of people without trial (Anwar al-Awlaki). It would have been a good learning experience in civil rights if She-Ra got a pneumothorax without trial, frankly.

Head Stomp????

Post by Phatscotty »

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UJ1nniVAsss

A few things even this commentor did not point out. It appears the first contact to the scitzo-red shirt was an order from Rand Paul's security team. You can see him(guy in suit) point her out, and the guy with the Paul shirt (security) garbs her immediately.

#1 How did security know she did not have a gun? Judging by her actions, and appearance, bitch looks like a fruit cake that snorted the nuts.

#2 Not knowing the Psychos intentions, anyone who has had any training whatsoever will tell you. When dealing with a crazed lunatic, and you do not know if the freak is armed or on drugs or what, the only message you can send is power and control. You have to let the psycho know that even if they do have a knife in their shoe, they are NOT going to get the chance to even THINK about using it. You can't be soft in this situation! Firm restraint is what is called for.

#3 he did not stomp on her head (OMG you guys are soooo cute!!!!) This one isn't even close.

Congratulations to the Tea Party for handling the situation perfectly. You are welcome for cleaning up the poopie on the floor left by the media...again.

That is Dale Robertson, the founder and former President of the Tea Party and Tea Party.org. You don't even know your own movement and have to resort to yelling and saying nothing of substance. Just like everyone in your movement. I'm not elitist. I'm just trying to use facts instead of just accepting the will of the big business and Christian fundamentalism and whatever you want to call Glenn Beck (he's called himself a "right wing populist" - the textbook definition of a fascist. But what do I know? Those textbooks are pinko-Islamic-lefty-Nazi-socialist books right?).

Your movement is full of sh*t. All of it. No grassroots, all big business funded rallies. Keep denying the racist elements. I could go to ten times as many Youtube videos of incidents of racism at these rallies. A tea party member saying otherwise means nothing.

Your politicians are full of shi*t. All of them. They're most incompetent bunch ever seen in American history. They have yet to say a word on foreign policy and many times have said things that go against the Constitution, the very document your Tea Party defends to the death. Back on the racism topic, Rand Paul, your championed politician, is against civil rights in private institutions and said so on television.

You don't know what you're talking about.

First, it's not my movement.

Second, Ron Paul started it all but it got hijacked. Ron Paul was calling for the things the Tea Party is now calling for but way before they existed!

We shall see how full of sh*t these guys are on Nov. 2nd. I think you're about to be really surprised! ;)

And you obviously didn't watch the links I posted..... you fail on so many levels.

Uhh, really? Another Republican activist arrested for assault at a rally? Sorry, TGD, this is now officially a trend. Also, lol at the age gap. 72 year old dude hitting a 23-year old woman. Nice. Let's see how this plays in Iowa.

Again, because perhaps people are misunderstanding... this happens in a lot of rallies in a lot of places across the political spectrum. This is not simply the Tea Party movement and it is not indicitive of the politics or actions of the vast majority of people in the Tea Party movement.

Apparently Democrats and any other non-Tea Party members. At least that's what I've been told. Only Tea Party people actually attack others.

Just curious, Did you read the article? It makes no indication the man was a Republican activist or even a Republican. He maybe a Republican for all I know, but this article and any other one I can find does not say that. You read someone was assaulted and automatically assumed it was a Republican.

As far as the Tea Party goes this particular candidate does not attend Tea Party Rallies and they do not support him. So this really has nothing to do with the Rand Paul incident
