I did a Tootsie Pop once, and it takes exactly 728 licks to get to that chocolatey center.

oh no my friend, it takes 305. the tootsie pop company did a study(given they did not reach the center at the same time IE they licked only one side)

how big your tounge is

how much saliva you are producing at that time

I think it probably took me 728 because I had a dry tongue at the time. But still, that shows how many licks with a dry tongue you get to the center of a tootsie pop.

You are all quite mistaken. As I have learned from a great Ninja, it takes 5,000 licks to the center, and by center i mean the stick. No chewing, biting, or scraping with the teeth allowed.
