We are all seeing firsthand how organized TOFU is ...you can't seriously be blaming Eddie for a rookie mistake? Most of us create and invite all at once, thus leaving out the possibility that someone will join the wrong team...this is TOFU's M.O. They always wait until the last second to join games. A strategy that (barring enough guilt being heaped on by the CC community) is going to cost them dearly...that and their inability to count...apparently...
And after all we had been through when you had inadvertently not sent your games to us after leaving the PM in your Drafts folder, but I didn't make a big stink about it. This current issue concerns TOFU & TIME and you might not be in possession of all the salient facts (Eddie has conveniently edited his post and deleted the rather wild statement that he made - if you had read that you might think differently).
1. TIME post their home games vs TOFU. These turn out to be their home games for Week 3 vs BSS.
2. TIME repost a set of games captioned TIME vs FOED. These are in fact supposed to be the TIME vs TOFU games.
3. I pledged to submit TOFU's home games on Monday 8th Nov, which I did. This was done in accordance with the standard practice on this thread, i.e. maps & settings, not game numbers.
4. Eddie posts in the thread "lol, can I have some game numbers please". To keep him happy and accommodate this request I immediately create the TOFU home games and post them in this thread.
5. Whilst I was creating the games Eddie made a subsequent post - just 41 minutes after posting his "lol, can I have some game numbers please" - saying "Well to hell with this, you can submit your games anytime you like and TIME will not be joining any games for a further 12 days etc etc" (this is the post he obviously felt rather bad about and has since deleted by editing it).
6. Eddie then starts immediately reserving slots in the TOFU home games on the wrong team, so naturally I get pissed off for having a) been rushed into creating games, and b) to then see them get messed up with erroneous invites.
7. Conclusion of this saga: TOFU has created their games which are made available to join, Eddie has thrown a hissy fit and threatened not to join any games for a further 12 days (???), and in the meantime TOFU is left looking at a list of games titled TIME vs FOED (which we worked out were meant for us of course) but are still not in possession of the p/w to join them.
So....we were last to get all the requisite info, yet it was Eddie pushing all the wrong buttons chasing us for info (prematurely) when in fact his own house wasn't in order.
At the end of the day it should be the TDs who determine who needs to submit what and by when, rather than a clan head take it upon himself to issue directives.
Maybe now you'll appreciate why I wrote what I did.
