No lynch wasnt my idea but i threw out the question of should we basically random lynch(As seems to be happening to tails) or agree to a no lynch(Which gets us really nowhere)

You didn't make any real justification for it (and this goes for anyone who votes for me because of the no lynch). You're just subscribing to the idea that a no lynch is a scumtell and poor strategy, while I'm saying it's not. The most likely outcome of a random D1 lynch is you lynch a townie, and then by D2 you have 2 townies dead, with nothing to show except for who pushed the D1 lynch the most (who are suspected scum, but really a weak lead). I'm saying that if you no lynch D1, by D2 you only have 1 dead townie, and maybe there are leads from possible cop characters.

A mafia with a twist, not just Town vs Scum

This also leads me to believe that there's a third party or cult, and so that means even fewer townies. If you have 2 dead by D2, than that's a huge blow, because members are divided across at least 3 factions.

First off, why would you not read your role?

Second, if you didn't read your role- why would you vote for someone, as you would really have no idea who's a townie or not. It's just an aimless vote- and you would have no idea whether it is helping to progress the gameplay or not. Also if you don't know for sure whether you are a townie or not- how could you even be motivated to help the town?


No one knows who is the mafia right now, except for the mafia of course. But at least if you know you are a townie, you automatically have some sort of motivation for helping the town and trying to find out who is mafia. Therefore, with any vote you cast- whether joking or not, it is still helping to progress the game and possibly find signs of scummish behavior from people.

So as you said, since you didn't read your role, you don't know if you are a townie. So then what is your motivation for voting? Perhaps you are really trying to deceive the town?

Also, I think the "twist" in this mafia is that there's multiple town-like factions like English, French, Spanish, Italian, etcetera. We're on a crusade and I think some factions are okay with people being NK'd and other factions aren't.
