From what I've seen, neither Tails nor Vioiet look too scummy to me. However, Sax is swinging around point blame to everyone and that's a bit inconsistent, thus he's the person I vote for.

I think this may be in particular, a third party scum lyncher tell.

First off, why would you not read your role?

Second, if you didn't read your role- why would you vote for someone, as you would really have no idea who's a townie or not. It's just an aimless vote- and you would have no idea whether it is helping to progress the gameplay or not. Also if you don't know for sure whether you are a townie or not- how could you even be motivated to help the town?


No one knows who is the mafia right now, except for the mafia of course. But at least if you know you are a townie, you automatically have some sort of motivation for helping the town and trying to find out who is mafia. Therefore, with any vote you cast- whether joking or not, it is still helping to progress the game and possibly find signs of scummish behavior from people.

So as you said, since you didn't read your role, you don't know if you are a townie. So then what is your motivation for voting? Perhaps you are really trying to deceive the town?

So you are purely acting as an independent agent right now? That just seems so serial killerish.

Following on from my last post I had a chance to search someone before the game started, one of edocs twists i spose, and i wanted a scum tell so I searched tails.

His motives are for the town. Not against.

This is my reasoning, plus VioIet seems to be wanting tails off pretty bad, perhaps she got what i did as a scum?

I don't understand why the gunning for me. Voting no lynch was a legitimate reason to vote for Tails, three other people did. And Tails' BW accusation was just an attempt to save his ass, and I called him out on it. I am not against accepting believable enough information for Tails' innocence, so I unvoted. I don't see why TheSaxlad would risk himself otherwise.

I also am surprised on the twist that TheSaxLad is taking. If I read correctly what he states in his posts, he *knows* Tailgunner is pro-town, and next thing we know we should be following him into a blind bandwagon on Victor? Been there done that I'd say, we BW "randomly" into Victor a lot and it often gets us nowhere.

I'll see another post from VioIet before I start unvoting and doing all the other fancy stuff, but I'll be keeping this in mind.

The "*knows*" part is great though, exactly the kind of stuff we want on D1. Gives us something to come back and compare against if/when we get a more definitive result on TG. Not that I'm overly convinced that Saxlad can be trusted but still.

I just posted yesterday, and have been fairly active.

There really isn't much for me to say except that I don't trust sax..lad. He's just been too much of a flipper. Nor do I think Victor is scummy. Also sax...lad seems to mix me and victor up- and i certainly don't appreciate the mix-up there. He is trying to make me look scummy for no reason.

Uhhh not to be too picky, but are you all sure you are thinking of strategy within the context of the current game? I mean yeah scum wouldn't usually stick up for each other, but this isn't just Town vs. Scum, it's an elaborate faction game, we have no idea what kind of win conditions scum may have, it could be anything from lyncher, to cult recruitment, or even specific survival.

Er, yes. A very bad idea. Rather let the towny die then get yourself killed instead. Especially if it's a random vt or some uninteresting role that is inferior to your own investigative skills. It all comes down to this: never trust the doc. You don't know who he is, so you can't trust him.
