Maybe you should include the date when this was achieved - it is much more interesting to see what was the gap between 1st and 2nd to get say 50 medals and 4500 points.

while this may be a good thing going towards the future, i dont see any way to update all the previous results without a lot of work.

agreed, this will be very difficult.

I think doing it for future standings is good enough. Of course it is impossible to figure out previous dates.
