Tournament presented by InsomniaRed
This tournament is a fun way to
explore maps you might not play often or to
challenge yourself on maps you enjoy!
I have chosen 18
colours and assigned a map to each
colour . When you sign up to play this tournament you will chose a
colour , and the map which that
colour represents is your 'Home Map'.
Game Settings: All games will be played with the following settings regardless of map: Standard, Sequential, Escalating, Adjacent, Foggy Tournament Info: 18 players
2 & 3 player singles games will be played
Maximum of 4 games played at one time
Opponents will be chosen at random using Random.org
No point restrictionTournament Format: Round 1 - Quarter Finals (18 players)
Players will be paired up(broken into 9 groups) using random.org and play three 1v1 games. One of each of their home maps, the third will be one of 9 random maps chosen for this tournament. (see below) Best two of three will advance to the next round. Round 2 - Semi Finals (9 players)
Players will be chosen(broken into 3 groups) using random.org to play four 1v1v1 games. One of each of their home maps, the fourth will be one of the 9 random maps chosen for this tournament. Whoever wins the most of the four games will advance. In the event of a tie, a tie breaker will be held in the form of a 1v1 on one of the 9 random maps chosen for this tournament. Round 3 - Finals (3 players)
The finalists will be play 1v1v1 games on each of their home maps. If one person has won all 3 games, that person is the winner of the tournament. If not, 1v1v1 games on a random map chosen for this tournament will be played one at a time until one player has accumulated 3 wins. That person will be named the winner of this tournament! Requirements: Join games within 24 hours
