Clan Wars 1v1 Singles

In the recent clan medals announcement, there was 1 key theme that people wanted to be left open being 1v1 games in a clan war. Looking for some direction the clan community would like to go. 14 day poll with re-voting allowed.

1:9 ratio. in 10 games only 1 set of games can be singles. That should be ok.

I think most clans will pick a low number of 1 vs 1's if they do. They should also have the choice to pick a higher number if both clans agree. 1 set of 1 vs 1's or 6 sets of 1 vs 1's are all ok.

Option #2 - pretty much what others have said. The amount of 1v1 games is not too big or too significant, but it is still there none the less.

Still i think that need minimum of 40 team game to apply for medal, and all above 40 can be single games.

i think you should be able to play unlimited.
my reasons
1.a clan should be able to play 1v1s
2.you bring in the best players as possible so you should at least have 2 good 1v1 players.
3. this will also encourage more 1v1 players to join a clan

You need to win the games and the challenge to get a medal, simply playing all those 1v1s won't do anything

Well if he spent all the time he used to spend in the forums and focused on his gameplay, I would bet he could be conqueror...

Allow some 1 vs 1 games, but, at a minimal, perhaps 10% or less of the games should be this, or best of 5 games equals 1 win, and allow one best of 5 (one vs one) per clan challenge.

Remember, this is clan challenges where team work should be priority, not singles.

i think the best of 5 1v1 is a good complement to the team-games.. 1 round of 1v1 per clan should be ok.. ( ithink this will regulate itself as 1v1 IS a huge deal drop and who goes first i dont think any clans would like a clanwar consistent of only 1v1's.. but it is also a bit of a fresh breath to have it in there i think..)
either way.. it shouldn't disqualify the clan-medal just because this was used as long as the proper amount of games where played..

Any update on this? I think some clans are itching to start a new war and they are not sure about singles - this should be addressed quickly.

If we were to plan a Clan War with singles would it still qualify for a medal if the non-singles games totaled more than 41 games?

ie: 41 team games, 4 singles games.

I've seen a few posts and pms around the 10% mark.

So if I'm interpreting correctly on a typical war.....

41 games and 4 points are from team games, whether that be a best of 3, 5 or 7?

I'm assuming people realize that singles will increase the total "spots" in a war by doing this.

I voted #2, I like the no more than 10% option. Personally I'd leave all singles out, as I agree with Blitz, clan = team games. However, there seems to be a large amount of support for 1v1 games included and I think the opinion of the community has to be respected.

Not sure exactly what you mean jp, but my suggestion would be to change the medal requirements (meaning the standard ware) to include this:

# A War must be of a minimum 41 games, and must have a specific defined process for determining a winner, prior to the start of the War. A random triples neutral game is recommended.
# The game composition must comprise 25% Doubles, 25% Triples, 25% Quadruples and 25% Choice of Games. No more than 10% of the total points can be from 1v1 games.
# Any 1v1 games must be a minimum of best of 3 for a single point.

I don't think we need to have 41 team games + the 1v1 games, I think if you have 41 games with 4 of them being from singles it's not too many from 1v1.

hmm,these need to change- like i sugested 40+1. Now you have many chalenges who have 40 team games total, and i realy think that these one game need to be separate,and explane diferent.
