I'd be wary of jesters for sure in a fircoal game, I wouldn't even be surprised if he had multiple jesters put in this game, saxlad, skoffin and flores in particular are acting like they want to be lynched. Funny that you say that people voting themselves as part of your theory that there are multiple jesters and two out of the three you mention I cant actually find where either skoffin or sax voted for themselves and the third you are claiming is faking being a jester.

K in no way I was ad hominem with my points, the theory is so weak I thought you following it so seriously was scummy. You didn't really answer that part, but well I'll answer the other points.
For the jester part: it's true Fir likes to do some fucked up stuff but his games are usually well balanced, and obviously 2 jesters would mean a big disadvantage to the town. I don't really buy it, unless there's some kind of mechanism that makes it a jester race where the first who gets lynched causes the other to lose. It's interesting however that you vote victor after fearing multiple jesters however because seeing all his posts if anyone's a jester Victor would be the best candidate, so that's a contraddiction between your two posts.
The problem I have with the "theory" and while not insulting your intellect I find scummy that you would so sternly agree to a proposed link on such a weak basis. I don't blame Commander for it, it seems to be the trend of new players to see 'obvious links' everywhere at the first post where you agree with someone. I find also weird that you don't leave any room for the interpretation that he wouldn't be willing to lynch a jester for instance, since you previously had pointed out the jesterness of it. So while my original post was not as well articulated as to me it was a calling you out case there are many fishy aspects to it. The fact you overreacted so much does not make me want to drop it right now.

This. From what I've seen so far, she's a much better player than this and I'm sure she'd do it a bitter differently than this. It's probably quite likely that she actually is scum and is trying to convince everyone that she's a jester so she wouldn't be lynched.

can you elaborate on this? i know that i am not half as experienced as you, but the only role i have ever encountered that involves a mean of transport is busdriver, i cant even begin to imagine variants or alternatives that could involve a car or bus, so please enlight us.

Could be anything, from transporting one person's action to redirect and protect to... Basically if the name's not busdriver I don't find it likely that it'd be the exact same. Btw your metagame argument sucks.

I'd like to be presented with actual evidence of my scumminess, so far the only purported thing that has any form of validity that may perhaps to my detriment make me appear scummy is this supposed shadowing behind a post of commander's. As far as I'm aware there is no other actual genuine attack against me.

How you are ad hominem is that you attempted to tear my arguments apart, criticising my mafia playing skills calling my ideas lousy and nonsensical, which are attacking words. Sure I may have responded with a few of my own attacks but these were in response. Then Victor comes in without even reading anything, just having seen a few quotes and bandwagons, flores comes in and bandwagons with some weak metagame point that I only am active when scum, which makes no sense at all and is totally flawed then says I must only be posting with an exciting role, which of course must be the SK. Incidently, these were two of the three I proposed a case against - only drawing strength in my mind that they are in cahoots with each other. I see flores playing the jester, well more casual spam then if that's what you want to call with it the vote on herself, then vioIet and victor make some sudden very shady remarks trying to deter the tension. I know it may be too early in the game to make these sorts of calls about who I think is scummy but that is how I like to play things, better than just having a spamming nonsensical day one, without lack of theory. If the only evidence that is against me is the commander thing then by all means lynch me.

All of this [except for the last two quotes] is from the same page. The last two quotes are from the start of the next page. Let's start with V's attempt to hammer sax. This seems a little like a chance to quickly end day 1, and, shortly thereafter, Flores jumps on as well... When this is noticed and pointed out, She quickly votes for herself to diffuse the situation and both V and Violet attempt to further draw attention away. I realixe that this isn't as eloquent as it should be, but I'm starting to fall asleep, so I'm trying to be brief and to the point...

I noticed Victor acting pretty suicidial in every game I've seen him in. Voting on the wrong people with the wrong reasons, making lol comments whilst admitting he does nothing but is uncaring about it, etc, etc... I don't know how much attention we should pay to it. Anyway. I think these silly games are a bit extra tricky. Some players take it as an excuse to prolong how silly they will be during the game, however most will get down and be serious. I think the mistake mafia tend to make is that they take it as an excuse to be more silly throughout the game than serious, using the fact that it's an un/chu game as an excuse to be ridonkulous and skirt by.
As for jesters, I'm a bit sketchy on that. I don't recall past unmafia games very well, but I'm not sure chu would load us up with jesters. Truth be told, it can be a rather dull role. Hand it to most players and they'll just be silly with it, then either be called out as a jester, ignored or maybe lynched out of frustration. Not all that great to be honest. If I were the host of this game and added a jester I think I would give it to a top player, someone who wouldn't act silly with it and likely be all serious and slooowwly make themself appear more and more scummy. That would be interesting.

I don't have much of an argument for any of the cases at this moment, but I will say that I don't think the evidence gathered illustrates Nag as scum. To me it seems like calling his theory weak and scummy with just another weak argument. But then I could be biased because Nag will be bringing the pizza.

Tbh, victor seems to be acting more crazy and suicidal than directly defending Flores. It appeared more the latter at first but his posts since and actually rereading his posts all at once make me think he's just being crazy and a possible jester rather than his intention being to defend flores. If I was to actually name two people at this point who looked more like they were defending Flores it would be vioIet who came out with something that looked like a credible defense than Victor's comment which in hindsight looks slightly more tongue in cheek than actually defending Flores and ga7 who came out with a fairly aggressive attack against Nag after accusing Flores, however that is nothing new from ga7. My experience playing with and against him is that if he thinks you are scum, he will aggressively pursue it unless you can convince him otherwise.

That being said, I still find Flores' move voting sax and later switching her vote onto herself to be a bit suspicious. It still seems possible that she had hoped it would be taken as a joke vote against an easy lynch target (no offense sax) and when someone called her out on it she quickly changed the vote to herself possibly to try and convey the demonstration that it was a joke vote. Plus when defending herself against nag she did put up a fairly weak argument about him being a cool role because according to her, he's more active when he has a cool role than a boring role. She then implies that the "cool role" is most likely scum or SK. Even if she's right that he has a "cool role", why does it have to be a scum role? Surely there are plenty of cool roles in a fir game for every side. So long story short we have flores who has acted moderately suspicious by herself and a few people who have stepped up against a bandwagon against her (though like I said I think victor's "defense" is very likely just tongue in cheek.) Under normal conditions probably worthy of a day 1 vote but there are others who seem scummy.

Nag, personally I don't feel he is scum at this point. He seems to be an eager townie and for whatever reasons he has focused his attention on a flores-victor scum pair and came up with a few theories that are a bit out there but I do not think he is scum. Though I did ask you a question about your multiple jesters theory a couple pages back that you still haven't answered Nag.

There is someone else in this thread, I would like to point out. Edocsil seems to be flying under the radar. He had been relatively active in this topic during the joke voting stage but since any serious arguments rose up he has disappeared. It's only been a few days since his last post true but the facts state that while he hasn't posted here he has been fairly active in other mafia topics and the timing of his disappearance as actual serious accusations started flying around make question the motives of the disappearance.
