But this guy in particular has a rating of 2.5.... one of the lowest i've ever seen and he's played thousands of games so it's not like it's a small sample size. I know just being rude isn't really a serious offense but should CC really tolerate it when someone is a serial jerk to thousands of other players? Just look at any of his games at random, it's absurd.

Honestly I think there should be some sort of consequence for being one of the most prolific players on CC and in nearly every game you act like a total jerk completely unprompted. I understand that swearing shouldn't be illegal and occasionally players get upset and are rude, but that is what this guy does as a default and he's done it literally thousands of times.

It's damaging to the community at a certain point when you let a troll run completely wild. In my opinion anyways.

How many times does this guy has to be reported before the mods do something? It's obvious he's a disgruntle member for some reason or another, and doing everything possible to annoy the crap out of everybody, and getting his kicks with all the bad attention he's getting. I foed him after the first and only game i played with him, enough said.

Sorry but being rude is allowed even if it is serial rudeness. He is on many foe lists including mine. That has a cumulative effect. He can not get in near as many fun games/point games as he wants to.

It would also be pointless to kick him from the site as he would become a multi creating phenom and create endless issues and larger problems.

Yes he is rude and crude but as long as it within the allowable/tolerable limitations he should not be disciplined for this mildly annoying game chat. Just avoided.

Now, I will say this...as much as I would love to see "various weird characters" removed from this site permanently, I do think jefjef's point regarding multi-creation is a valid one. Is he a bigger pain in the ass now or would he be a bigger pain in the ass then? It's the classic case of "the devil you know or the devil you don't know". That leads me to agree with jefjef...at least this way, he's already under a good deal of control.

I know you say 'foe and forget' but that really only solves the problem of you playing him. It doesn't do anything for the thousands of other players who keep playing him not knowing what they're in for. Isn't part of the point of enforcement to protect everyone and not just sort out petty disputes between individual players?

I really dont think a warning from an online gaming site has completely shifted one's point of view or personality. The best way to deal with people like this is to ignore them, and not give them the attention they so desire. While it may be annoying the one time you'd have to play him, I think CC has let a number of offenders of being "rude" slip in the past. There would be alot more people banned that are seen regularly posting in these forum if there was a stricter enforcement on speech.

That was worse than what was quoted for the game chat of the accused. If he were to get any sort of warning for his comments you would have to be warned also.

We have a process which we follow to get rid of those who continually make this community less enjoyable, but I can't and won't punish someone when they have not done anything wrong. Players like this one will eventually over stay their welcome by breaking to many rules and then they will be gone.
