I was trying to make it a little bit chronological in the imaginary world in my head...

D-Day - June 6th, duh
WWII Western Front - Falaise Pocket/Siegfried Line (don't know enough about WWII for this one)
WWII Ardennes - Battle of the Bulge
WWII Europe - Includes the Soviets forces, so I figured it could be everyone converging on Berlin
Berlin 1961 - Post-WWII Berlin

I know it doesn't really follow logically, but it has to do with the way I thought of WWII Europe for this tournament.
