I suggested starting with 10. It seems like 9 would not give us a large enough "taste", as the only extra thing we'd really be able to do is 3 by 3 triples and an extra player in Standard. I think 10 is the most reasonable start-out point. That way, you get 3 by 3 triples, 2 by 5 doubles, and a substantial 2 extra players for Standard. Just my fifth of a dime.TheForgivenOne wrote:A bonehead move on Feudalarmy of nobunaga wrote:how did you get on my foe list forgiven??!![]()
Anyways, yeah, a huge amount of people demanded the jump be instantly be made without thinking what could happen on a majority of maps.

people can just do that with quads now, in fact im not going to lie i have been involved in many quads games where i knew experienced teams were not going to join for medal hunting.fumandomuerte wrote:113>12 =PVictor Sullivan wrote:How so?Darwins_Bane wrote:careful....that was a battle royale...from my understanding thats a little different.
Now, while I support this suggestion, I feel that there will be abuse from some "farmers" creating 6vs6 games with non-sense settings attractive to only newcomers and distracted rookies. Most of these predicted games will have a clear pattern: deadbeating on team 2.
EXACTLY.Army of GOD wrote:If you don't think it's smart to join a 12-player assdoodle then don't.
If you mean larger maps in terms of number of regions in the current alloted map size, many mapmakers are already working hard to make things fit while retaining legibility. If you mean increasing the map size, that will happen only when either the admins either abandon those with low-resolution screens to death by scrolling, or when a major overhaul of the game page layout frees up more screen real estate.TheForgivenOne wrote:Upping it to 12 players could also give mapmakers the incentive to create larger maps.army of nobunaga wrote:you dont play a lot of quads do you/?
even on maps like Mexico, space, others of similar size, the 4th guy on the quads team doesnt always get a turn.
I dunno, I think you guys will be really disappointed if/when this happens.
map size is limited to 840 ><800 pix .. Hive is about the biggest with discernable terts. you can get. And im telling you this. in 6 vs 6.. Im not sure the last guy gets a turn in Hive either.
but whatever, gl with it.

Good lord, I'm too old to join a game like that. I would deadbeat for sure (literally).Army of GOD wrote:I call starting the first 12-player, no spoils, adjacent reinforcements game on the Hive

I... uh... don't really know what to say to this...except post something on topic like, when is this gonna be heading to the "Archived Implemented Suggestions" to be put on the *To Do* list?TheForgivenOne wrote:Not possible.Victor Sullivan wrote:IT WAS JUST FOR COMIC EFFECT STOP OVER-ANAL-YZING, GOD!!!
I can not read lackattack's mind. So I do not know. I think Submitted Suggestions is the closest thing we have to a To Do List any more. The Archived Implemented Suggestions are the ones that have been done.Victor Sullivan wrote:I... uh... don't really know what to say to this...except post something on topic like, when is this gonna be heading to the "Archived Implemented Suggestions" to be put on the *To Do* list?TheForgivenOne wrote:Not possible.Victor Sullivan wrote:IT WAS JUST FOR COMIC EFFECT STOP OVER-ANAL-YZING, GOD!!!
Yet there are ones that say *To Do* and others that don't but have yet to be done...ender516 wrote:I think Submitted Suggestions is the closest thing we have to a To Do List any more.
