A little background. I had a premium membership a while back and stopped playing and let it expire. About 8 months later I
decided to play again, and I wanted to change my name to something new. I wanted to change it for some family reasons.
That was about 2 months ago. I haven't played on the old account in that time.
Out of the blue today, I have my premium membership disappear. No email, no explanation at all. So I emailed support
and was told that it was removed because I had an old account. But then I'm told its okay for me to buy premium
membership again. "Feel free to re-upgrade should you want to."
Now I just don't understand all this. Clearly I didn't do any type of cheating, and clearly I didn't affect anyone's game in any
negative manor. But why would they tell me my membership is being revoked, but that if I pay more money I can come back?
Seems like they are just after more money? That is pretty lousy.

Multiple accounts are discovered by routine scans and community cheating reports. They are strictly forbidden whether or not they play in the same games or are even in use.
This is one of 2 written rules found in the rules tab.
Warning: Having multiple accounts is considered cheating. We routinely scan for multiple accounts and offending members will be banned from Conquer Club.
This is found directly under the sign up form on the home page.
What has happened sucks, agreed, but mutiple accounts for any reason = against the rules. It is however unfortunate that you werent intending on cheating.
So nobody else finds it odd they they decide I'm cheating by having a new (but not simultaneous) account, yet they are willing to let me play if I pay them another $25?
From a business standpoint, I don't even see why they don't allow one to have multiple accounts as long as they don't play in the same game. I'd love to be able to pay $100 open 4 accounts and play in some quadruple games against good competition. In the past every time I've tried to play as a team, I've had someone on my team miss multiple turns, and that is not really fair to me and my other teammates.

Odd, no...it's bidness.

Uh...because obviously people would use those multiple accounts to avoid buying premium while still getting a high number of games. From a business standpoint, it would be STUPID to allow multiple accounts.

How would letting people get past the 4 game limit be a good business standpoint?

Gee, how about only allow such accounts for paying members?
Well I guess I'm done here. I'm going to try to get my money back. I'll have to call the conquerclub business office since I haven't heard back from this King Achilles character yet.

I really don't see a reason to pay $50 to play unlimited games on 2 accounts. Also, players on forum or Live Chat bans could use this excuse to get past their ban to keep posting or even players on a website ban could use a second account under your logic.
