Honestly I don't know why I've been on it for so long. However I was on it because I thought it was scummy but not as scummy as the push to lynch him and have him claim. I was on because it was the scummiest thing at the moment and that it warranted a vote. However now I'm not so sure if that statement holds water./ wrote:Well, you may have some point, but if this bandwagon provides neither info or a scum, it is pointless for town, can you tell me what you hope to achieve from being on thisFircoal wrote:This post kinda sounds like you're trying to peg Edoc for any little reason that you can. You have had plenty of time to claim, I feel you are stalling especially seeing as how over half the town has expressed suspicion towards you. Vote Edocsilfor so long?Fircoal wrote:useless bandwagon.

By this point you should have unvoted at least. maybe you're staying on to lynch him since you're scum.VioIet wrote:xuereb wrote:or do theyedocsil wrote:

Mine didn't. My vote on edoc was a joke vote back from page 6.
Ok. At this point you've skimmed, editted a post, made a big deal about a small issue in one post, and now you've skimmed again. unvote vote iconVioIet wrote:Unvoteedocsil wrote:

I suppose you're referring to the last line of my post, and I might agree if it didn't concern the rest of the post, but since it does I think I am licensed to comment. Also, isn't everyone thinking that? lol.strike wolf wrote:I have to wonder...as the mod should you really be getting into this debate?
The first one flores pointed out was an elaborate trap so i could double check the answer of whoever responded. muahahaha.strike wolf wrote:Ok. At this point you've skimmed, editted a post, made a big deal about a small issue in one post, and now you've skimmed again. unvote vote icon

And I disagree. Not all new players take the effort to read the rules because the rules are practically the same on every mafia forum. I edited once as well because I never ever played a forum where editing was prohibited, and I was assuming the rules were the same anyways. This is the key reason why I'm being lenient about it.
Also I think it is REALLY farfetched to think he was saying "oh my scumbuddies are x y and z" and then edited that out xD
vote aage for skimming, you skimmer modFloresDelMal wrote:actually that post is mine, i was going to check this, logged in, went to take breakfast and he had logged in, and i didn't notice, oh the joy of PC sharing.ga7 wrote:Actually no, i don't think most ppl pull this kind of bs, from where do you get your stats anyway? first "new" doesn't mean "illiterate", and being mafia a text based game, i am throwing the far fetched assumption that everyone here knows how to read, the rules of the game are clear, they don't say "is strongly advised to not edit but not wholly enforced, so go and do what you feel is right" and yes, the readiness with which most ppl is willing to laugh it off seems at best fishy to me.Commander9 wrote:No one said it wasn't serious, but the guy's new and almost everyone who has played the game made this mistake. Why were you skimming? and making a big deal out of a small thing when i had nothing else to go by? if that's a crime, i'm guilty.
as for the second skim, well, okay, my bad.

How so?Commander wrote: Besides, aage though his action, pretty much inferred that he's town.
Exactly, you cannot. All is means is that the mod would prefer it if he wasn't modkilled. All that really can be implied is that his life is important for the balance of the game. Honestly the only one who wants balance is the mod, we all want unbalance in out favor, mainly due to some accurate lynches.TA1LGUNN3R wrote:How so?Commander wrote: Besides, aage though his action, pretty much inferred that he's town.

The bolded part for me is an indirect way to think that way. Just got a feeling that aage defending a noob townie, who shouldn't be lynched for what he had done and by saying that he shouldn't be lynched, aage is inferring that it's not to our benefit, thus he's not scum. It's extremely unfriendly and unwelcoming to do that to a noob (it's likely he won't come back after such experience)aage wrote:Are you in this game?

The question at that time was not a mod kill, but rather us lynching him for all of the scum tells...TA1LGUNN3R wrote:Commander I don't think that has relevance. What aage was saying was that he wouldn't post "hey I'm scum, and here's my mates" in the first place, even if he was scum, so it was ridiculous to assume that he edited anything actually relevant to the case, and so was unworthy of a modkill. I don't believe the implication was that he was a townie.

No, we are say that the defense in no way proves he is town, which is quite different. The mod isn't town aligned, they tend to root for the underdog, a lone SK or something. Not suggesting that he is a SK, just that because the mod doesn't wish him dead doesn't mean he is town.Commander9 wrote:You've got to be kidding me... Seriously? Either you're both unable to read between the lines (which I extremely doubt, especially with edoc) or you're both scum...

Aage pretty much directly said that it's extremely bad to lynch a player judging from that and defended him and you're saying that he didn't. Seriously guys...

If you'll have enough time, read his whole post again and it's exact wording. Unless more concrete information will come out, I will definitely assume him to be town. Not saying that I couldn't be wrong and you couldn't be right, but this along with 00coin being a noob suggests there's no case here and that we would be better off looking somewhere else.edocsil wrote: No, we are say that the defense in no way proves he is town, which is quite different.
