As well as about five other books.

Picked up an amazing book in a fine bookshop in New Hope at Xmas.
I was amazed I'd never heard of it, or its author.
It's from the 1880's, and it's an early "lost world" type adventure, with echoes (or prefigurings) of Conan Doyle, Burroughs, and Rider Haggard, but also of Swift and Butler too. A cracking read. But what first attracted me to it was just the title, which is one of the best book titles ever.

It's A Strange Manuscript found in a Copper Cylinder by James de Mille. My copy is a modern paperback, published by OneWorld Classics.

Still Working on Tragedy and Hope. I have owned the book for 7 years, and have never just skipped over all the dry parts to page 1,084.

Yeah, it reminded me why bookshops are a good thing. Of course you can find a book online that you already know you want - but I'd never have encountered this one or indeed heard of it if it hadn't been there on a physical shelf right in front of me...

I do both in combination. Occasionally I will go to the local bookstore (sadly, Barnes & Noble) and peruse the sci-fi section. If I see a book I like, I'll go online to check out reviews and whatnot. This has worked well for me thus far.

and

Book #50 of the Brittanica Great Books Series: Marx. My first choice of all 54(now that I own them all), although I have read a dozen of the others I borrowed over the years, including Homer enough times to memorize it.
