That's what victor was saying - the color is good, we don't need to change it.theBastard wrote:a little larger yes. colour not - we are Historical Society, not circusVictor Sullivan wrote:

Yeah, sorry. I suppose I should I phrased that better: I like the color(s) you used.isaiah40 wrote:That's what victor was saying - the color is good, we don't need to change it.theBastard wrote:a little larger yes. colour not - we are Historical Society, not circusVictor Sullivan wrote:

Im sorry to have crushed your dream, though it is peculiarly satisfying...MarshalNey wrote:Crud, I was hoping to get my sign-up at least among the first 10, but a 24-hour stomach flu has stolen my dream. Well... if the member slots aren't limited to a Council of Ten, count me in
I like the idea of taking binned maps and 'restoring' them. Sort of the thing a Historical Society does yes? Dust off old things and make them ready for display? It would be cool really to see a map signed by not a player but a usergroup- nobody angling for a medal, just a desire to see history re-created.

You're in as soon as I ... er I mean WE get the official word from the powers that be.MarshalNey wrote:Crud, I was hoping to get my sign-up at least among the first 10, but a 24-hour stomach flu has stolen my dream. Well... if the member slots aren't limited to a Council of Ten, count me in

These could be good starts. My two maps would have to be done from scratch again but it shouldn't be any problem. I was figuring on resurrecting mu Western Fur Trade as it is probably this easiest one to get up going again. I also have an Eastern Fur Trade to go along with ittheBastard wrote:here I write maps of members which looks "dead/retire". than we can sort some of them (if mapmaker want):
MarshalNey (he is not member yet, but I think he will be soon), Secesh Heresy: Gettysburg, Day 2
tokle Angevine Empire
Industrial Helix Russian Revolution
Industrial Helix Gallipoli
Industrial Helix Collapse of Soviet Union
isaiah40 Exodus (do not know how historic accuracy it is...)
isaiah40 Colonial Africa
isaiah40 Western Fur Trade
theBastard Reconquista
theBastard Colonize the World
natty_dread Kalmar Union
natty_dread Star of Africa (board game, but I think with historical roots)
Victor Sullivan Terra (is it fiction?)
jigger1986 WWII Pacific
tokle The Third German Empire
sorry me if I forgot any map or any mapmaker...
I found some maps from not Society members, but which looks interesting.

Actually when you get a map quenched you then get the shiny new medal and 1 years free premium!Victor Sullivan wrote:Dont we get like a couple months of premium for making a map? We could use that and hold usergroup run contests! That would be aweshome!
Well you wouldn't have to make a map, but we do ask that you help out on any maps we do make.40kguy wrote:I will join but I only like one thing about history and that is war.
Well I know but in order for it to be accurate I would need to be smart. I will also help you guys with the maps.isaiah40 wrote:Well you wouldn't have to make a map, but we do ask that you help out on any maps we do make.40kguy wrote:I will join but I only like one thing about history and that is war.
