Sounds plausible. My only question is this: if you know that you work 2 jobs (up to 16 hours per day) and you don't have reliable internet because you pirate your neighbor's connection, why would you start over 3000 games?

It was 1304 I believe, and tbh there really isnt a reason in my eyes to do this other than the sheer purpose of having this many games going at once for the "record". HA even said it when he talked to herkman, (paraphrased) "Dont expect to keep your rank as it isnt possible". The games being played cannot be played to the best of one's ability in the alotted time, its just not possible to analyze the game fully. For attempting something like this, I dont really think he, or anyone in the future, can be penalized nor should someone who attempts it because its their choice for unlimited games, even if they realize they put themselves at a disadvantage from the start. Though with the extreme case of so many games deadbeated, or at the minimum deferred troop making swings in the games of a thought-to-be deadbeated opponent, I could definately understand a point reset.

Wasn't it herkman that was denied from some clans because his turn % was really low and he had some excuse about being in the hospital for 40 days or deadbeating 40 games? Either way seems like he has a lot of excuses. He wanted a bunch of attention that's why you start 1300 games and he got the attention guess he should deal with the consequence.

Has there been any ruling or explanation of what is going on? I'm still playing games with him, it seems strange that there has been no chat from him and even stranger that CC has not explained their actions but perhaps I missed it. It makes sense to me that CC would limit the amount of games any one player can have going now. I have no idea what herkman's motivation was, I took it that he was trying for a record, a silly one perhaps, but I assumed that was all he was doing. I can't believe point dumping was his motive, perhaps he had figured out that once he bottomed out it would be easy to come back. That hadn't occurred to me and I don't think many others did until it happened. Perhaps the real problem is letting other's play your games. Life happens and we miss our turns. It seems to me that the only person that hurts is the player that misses the turn and their teammates now. We all take the risk by joining a team game that our partners will miss a turn. I think it's only fair that we let herkman speak his peace. I will foe him after my games are done with him. That will be the result of his failed attempt and a lesson for me. I understand that CC is still fluid and evolving. I have a lot of fun here and I have been critical of the way some things are handled. Nevertheless I do think they have the gaming experience we all enjoy as their ultimate goal. I just wish they would be a bit more transparent and forthcoming when these kind of hiccups occur. It's okay for unseen problems to arrive, it's not okay to call us a community and then not let us know what's going on. I still want to hear his explanation in chat or otherwise even if it is bs.
