I've been gone for a while and haven't been that busy. I've gotten back into CC and the Foundry, and I've noticed very few well designed game play maps. At least two of them are far beyond comprehensible. 300 territories anyone?
So, I've come up with an idea. If any of you would be willing to stick to a map, I would gladly be willing to make a map up until the graphics kick in. That is where I will need the help. My offer to you is this; I will do everything pertaining to the map. All you would have to do is the graphics along with getting them approved.
With that said, would any of you like to volunteer to help do the graphics of a map?

U2.
Very few well designed game play maps? I feel like looking over the poll of maps in 2010, there are quite a few that have average, above-average, and good game play.

That, along with the "Real" Gameplay I am used to. Not the 400 some territory and 70 hexagons, etc. It's not a real life place or a fictional map that you can fight over.
What is "real" gameplay anyway? Diversity is an asset. If all the maps had the "standard" gameplay with no variation, the site would get boring very quickly.
And there's only one map with 400 territories. Most recently made maps are in the medium or medium-large category (40-80).
Both of you are right. Variational maps are key, but there is just too much with these ones. That's also not the reason I'm really here, it's to make a map of something so people can enjoy playing it

If this is a map idea, then hit us with it and I'll put the thread in the right place...
PB: 2661 | He's blue...If he were green he would die | No mod would be stupid enough to do that
It will depend, I am researching some areas right now. Graphics would include putting all the graphic work into it. I will make the base map(territory outline, name, bonus, cont, XML, etc.).
Or how about a map of just the "world" islands? It would be like another world map, except it wouldn't be a map of the world, it would be a map of a part of dubai
Still looks like bones to me... but Dubai as a whole might be cool.
Actually... I've been thinking a standard Persian Gulf would be quite awesome. Lots of different countries there... none of which need to be portrayed in compete.

The Arabian Peninsula itself I think calls out for a map.
Either an early historical (like Muhammad's conquest) , late historical (18-19th century), or even modern day map would be cool:
