OFFICE WARS Map (Yay my first map)

Post by lolkittens »

I made a map called office wars. I only have the layout of the map set up, and it has cheesy graphics. I can make it look better later, but here is my map. Opinions, suggestions, comments, constructive critisizm?

put a slash ( / ) on your ending bigimg tag, like so:

[/bigimg]

The instructions made me chuckle- "Your employees must [gain total dominance] to get their work done..." Wow, it's not even that they're trying to avoid work, they're just trying to feel like they're accomplishing something with their day

That theme could really work, I think. Who doesn't get tired of idiotic management, and who hasn't experienced it?

The gameplay is very rough, but that can come later. What I think this map needs right now is more elements that play up the theme. Right now, the elements on the map are:
(1) Cubicles
(2) Departments/Lounge
(3) Bosses

The Bosses are okay, I think the names are sort of meh but certainly they fit. I like the use of "Boss" anyway. There might even be room for a Big Boss perhaps...

The Departments don't have much, just a bonus really (I'm assuming, although that isn't in the legend they are colored areas). The Lounge could be something worth keeping, depending on what you wanted to do with it.

The Cubicles are similarly bland, just numbers. The 'employees' are faceless, hard to have sympathy for them. And the bombardment doesn't seem to support the theme, I'm not sure what it's supposed to represent.

But I'm hoping that you've got the time and energy to see this map through, I think it could be very fun.

Thanks for your reply. The things on the sides are the parking spaces, and I will make a bonus for them. I can also make a reception area. And the cubicles can bombard eachother. That matches the theme, because they throw paper planes and stuff at eachother. I can change that too. So u pretty much like the map?
