[SCSY] Keep Highest Rank Attained

tr71123 had a captains rank once...now he's back at lieutenant.
I don't think we should be demoted if we don't have the requirements anymore because of a bad losing streak...we should keep the rank we had.

What do you guys think?

In real life you can get demoted. Why not on a GAME?

in real life, you must be a real fuck-up to get demoted in the Forces...
You need to do someting really really bad to get demoted...like lose a game against 5 deadbeats...lol

No really, in the forces, it is so rare you see demotions that I don't think it is representative to leave it as it is on CC.

The way I see it CC is not trying to simulate the way the actual army does ranks it's just a graphic way of showing your skill at the game.

I say leave it like it is. if you don't want to lose your rank play better

I think I would personally like for there not to be any demotions. I think it will lead to too much obsessing about rank, One big problem is that if you have a high rank you lose more points everytime you lose a game. I would rather just play for fun and let the chips lay where they fall, but I think that once you achieve a certain rank that you should be entitled to keep it out of respect.

The ranks don't really mean anything anyway and if there are no demotions then you will actually get a better idea of who you are dealing with. If somebody had once been a top 10 player I would like to be able to tell that simply by looking at their rank. I don't know, maybe I'm not expressing myself very well about this. Just my opinion.
