I think edoc's intent is to try to keep his body guard out of harms way and initially tried to guise the fact that he had one. Not sure but with no one countering the claim, I have to believe he's third party.

Vio, I didn't know either of their identities at the start of the game, but when Fircoal voted for me in a rather serious way I assumed he wasn't my bodyguard. Since I only know two people a simple process of elimination tells me who the bodyguard is.

with our investigator being protected, maybe a no lynch is best? we definitely get info from an investigator who has already claimed.

just my two cents: i can't quite pin why, but i have a deep gut feeling Fircoal is anti-town.

Xeureb could be an alternative to a no-lynch. submarining has taken him very far.

Perhaps.

It would be hard for me to justify a no-lynch when i have a strong hunch that fir and com are anti-town. But perhaps if we come to a consensus not to lynch either of them, one of them can be investigated during the night.

I would say I would prefer for Xeureb to be replaced, however I know from the experience of modding my game- that replacements are hard to come by at the moment.

Was hard to get the two replacements I got- and I still need one more. Also commander has needed replacements for Post-Apocalypse few weeks now- but no biters.

I'd say the odds of getting a replacement for Xeureb are very slim to none. And I would much prefer for him to be lynched than mod-killed.

However, i wouldn't want to lynch him without hearing a claim, but I would rather that he didn't claim, because we've had too many claims already on day 1. This really just sounds like a no-win situation all the way around.

Or he could actually be Frenchie, just be a scum.

Trust me, she can vote others as well. As far as my role goes, there were no nemesis (or that I can remember) and that is what Vio is inferring. The more things advance, the more I am sure she's no good, but I don't have any case against her, so as of now, I can't do anything.

As far as replacements go, I do agree with Vio - it would be great, but I don't think we'll get one just out of the sky.
But... It was so artistically done.

Too bad hunches don´t matter any more today.

This day is over as of now

Once I'm done writing a report on some research my university made me do, I'm posting a scene.

This may be tomorrow.

Apologies for the delay.

After the first attempt to arrest and eliminate a suspect, everyone was reluctant to do this again. There was no confidence after the first try, no desire to kill.

"Anything going on here?" Trinity, dismissed from the meeting by her captain Morpheus, walked up to the door guards. A cat walked by.
"Not much, really," one confessed. "Operator is quiet so far. No disturbances. No enemies. No threat." A cat walked by.

Trinity blinked. "Deja-vu."

There was a two second silence. Then, the sound of heavy gunfire.

One guard was killed instantly. Bullets perforated his body within mere seconds, giving him no chance at all to respond to the assault. Trinity, being prepared, managed to get away before the agents came walking through the door.

"They're here, damn it!"

Tank grabbed his microphone.
"They found you! Get the hell out, now!"

The men that had gathered in the room now started to spread themselves, moving to the exits. Or so they thought.
"It's blocked, damn it!" some shouted.
"Get upstairs! There's gotta be a way out of here!"

Operators stared hopelessly at their screens. One by one the exits were uncoded by the matrix. "Hurry," they whispered in between their instructions, hoping the escape attempts weren't futile.

Day 1 ends in a No Lynch.

Send me your actions before monday the 7th.

No offense aage but this game hasn't really gotten anywhere. I don't think you are a bad mod but it seems as of right now you either lack the time ir attention to run this gane properly...I could be wrong. Maybe you are dealing with a lot of inactive people with night abilities but right now this game is dying.

I like this game. I think Day 1 was interesting and it was very active towards the end. And I'm sure when Day 2 comes, it will be active again.

I am eager for the next day to begin however. Hopefully the scene will be posted soon.

Apologies. Believe me if I tell you I had a very good reason not to spend time on this. Monday was a bad deadline to choose.

My college starts in 30 minutes so I'm going to have to put the scene up later today.

Right, that was a pretty long night. Sorry about that. I hope you all are fresh and fruity now, because it's been a tough night.

There was always another door. Always another door. Mr. Squirrel grabbed another key from his belt. Was this the right one? He believed it was. What else would the key be for? Everything has a purpose, everything has a destiny. So did this key, and so did this door.
The Keymaker walked through the door and reached for another key as he heard footsteps behind him.
"The Keymaker," the agent spoke, "I've been interested in dealing with you for quite some time. You've been helping this pathetic scum that is now running towards their cellphones." He spat on the floor. "You filthy traitor. Why help these humans, these weaklings? They are the inferior race, and are destined to serve."
Mr. Squirrel swallowed slightly, but kept his nerve. "We do only what we're meant to do."
The agent grinned. "Then you are meant for one more thing... Deletion."

Mr. Squirrel - The Keymaker (town hider/copier) has been killed!

Hmm...well I need to reread before I make much of a case...this scene though...the agent was by himself. An sk rather than mafia?

Perhaps just the one with the kill. Not Smith though. he is never just another nameless agent. my vote is still for a recruitment.

Ok, here goes nothing.

VOTE HAGGIS

My reasoning, primarily bandwagoning when it was particularly easy to do so without rousing suspicion and then trying to kill claimed town power roles.

His reason for being on the Icon wagon was this;
Haggis_McMutton wrote:Wait, wait, wait. There's something very odd going on here.

1.Sax makes that ridiculous post defending icon(seriously, not only did it make no sense at all, but has anyone ever seen Sax making a post that big?)
2. icon comes up with a obscure claim(I had to google "Sati matrix", she doesn't even have a wiki page)
3.Now comes the really weird bit:
edocsil wrote: I don't understand the bulletproof bit. The character is a bit obscure but not too so. It would make a good fake claim to be handed to the mafia. That being said the character could plausibly be in the game. I just don't like the bulletproof bit. Are there any conditions to it? It would make more sense if there was.
TheSaxlad wrote:
I imagine that if seraph was to die innocent child would die as well, as she came under the protection of the oracle.
edocsil wrote: I believe he is assuming that the town will win. That being said I will unvote. If you bulletproofness is linked to the Seraph your role becomes far more plausible. And no I am not the Seraph, but it just fits better then a bulletproof child.
Here's how i read this exchange:
edoc:"Ok, not a bad fakeclaim, but you need to add more flavour. Give us something about the bulletproofness"
sax:" Oh, I've got it, how about blablabla"
edoc:"good enough, ok guys let's move on, unvote"

This just doesn't smell good at all. Sorry, but the obscure role + this very weird exchange = vote icon
To me it seems like there isn't much in there, I was doing my usual rolefishing and he votes for Icon, the one totally not speaking in the quote, after Icons claim. Fishy, Sati was an important enough character to be included (especially if you consider the symbolism of her character) and the the role fit the character well. No reason to lynch here now.

Then once Sax claims with that stupid cookie thing Haggis says;
Haggis_McMutton wrote:Hmm, not sure what to make of that claim.
Anyway, there's really no downside as far as I can see to testing it.

vote Sax
At this point we had no idea how insane Sax's role was, which was pretty much the whole reason the wagon continued so long after his full claim, and he tried to get the Oracle, a role guarantied to be in a Matrix mafia, killed. That no good. He later goes on to argue for his lynch (agreeing with me, an argument I was nearly killed for) after the claim, not necessarily in the towns interest.

Then once flow asks for some help forcing me to claim says;
Haggis_McMutton wrote:Got to admit I haven't been able to read the last few pages properly, just skimmed them(was away for the weekend).
But with the deadline and all I'll say that a lynch is almost always better than a no lynch.
vote edoc.

I'll try to read this more thoroughly by tomorrow.
Just following the lead of the crowd, not adding anything and keeping his head down to avoid attention. His posts count were a bit low early in the game, not so much later on. Basically I think he has been playing the ideal scum, staying active, not pissing anyone off, playing it safe.

On another note I would really like to hear what Sax's investigation returned.
