It's not too fast, deadline is on friday.

Its a bit of a worry that we're going to lynch someone who hasn't even logged on for a while. I'm guessing this is (at least one of) the people to be replaced.

I can't really see what we're going to learn by lynching campin? I'm hoping we'll get a replacement for him instead, so there's another active player. That being said, I don't want a no-lynch so hopefully commander finds someone soon.

Also, I though we'd already learnt that thesaxlad was the double-voter?

If there would be a consensus, I could extend the deadline one LAST time until Sunday.
But... It was so artistically done.

Yes, but unless we have a better lead, lynching dead weight is better than a no lynch.

Campin still hasn't been online, it's been quite a while now. As replacements seem to be rather scarce around here, they might as well be used for someone else. This way we at least have a lynch target for today, with the deadline coming up.

Unvote, vote Campin

My understanding was that the whole idea behind making sure that we don't end up with a no-lynch is that at least we learn something from a lynch. Either the target makes a claim, says something incriminating, or we get information from vote order/voters comments.

If campin is mafia then we've basically struck it very lucky. I suppose if he is gf/third party killer then that would explain the lack of action from the giggling group, but we haven't even speculated on that. I could understand if we were talking about someone who was inactive as that may be suspect in itself, but campin hasnt even been on so we're flying blind.

My fear is that we may find that campin is town, we've learnt nothing, and we've basically just made the mafia's job easier. Let me be clear, I'm not advocating a no-lynch, or even that we shouldn't lynch campin. I'm just saying that we need to continue discussing other suspects as well.

I remain suspicious of dlanor. He is pretty much steering the conversation the way he wants it to go, and whilst it is meaty stuff, it is also exactly what I would expect a replacement player to do if they were scum and picked up when the heat was on. Shutting down a line of conversation is fine if it is a distraction while we have solid leads, but if we dont then it is not something which benefits town. Also, don't forget how close we were to lynching fuzzy, or how defensive dlanor was when he first joined. I agree that a replacement shouldn't jump straight into a claim, but likewise what we have learnt from the original player shouldn't just be forgotten.

For today we're going to wind up lynching campin. I'd like to wait as long as possible on the remote chance that he shows up, but I will hammer if needed. However tomorrow hopefully we can kickstart some proper investigation

That's ok Jeraado.

I think from your reaction here, you are PROBABLY an SK or something. Actually, you're probably the abomination. I have role related info that tells me NOT TO TRUST YOU, and once I revealed this info, it is only NOW you begin to attack me. Because I threaten your ability to remain unseen in this game perhaps?

jeraado (1) - Saxlad,
Campin (9) - Dlanor, Safari, Edoc, MeDeFe, Naxus, aage, Sax, Mr. Squirrel, Streaker L-1

With 18 alive, 10 to lynch.

Looking for replacements. Deadline this coming Friday at night.
But... It was so artistically done.

f*ck it why drag this on any longer, and I believe Knox has a compelling case. I was hoping for a replacement because I hate to see a role wasted, but there's also sens to replace as well, so waiting this long will benefit no one. vote CK.

The life was never an easy walk in the park for Haris Pilton - in fact, it may have been the opposite. Everyone he knew always made fun off him. One day, when he was 15, he gave an oath that no one will ever make fun of him again. When Apocalypse broke out, Haris was having a time of his life - he finally got a chance to repay all of those bastards who made fun of him! One of such beatings led him to a man called Stephen Hawking - a man that Haris started to admire straight away and has sworn allegiance to him since.

Image
Haris in one of his better days.

Due to his reluctance to socialize, people started getting suspicious of him: "He has to be a werewolf, because no can see him during the day!", "But that means he could be a vampire!" and "He stole all of my π!!!" Already he made a lot of people became suspicious, when a couple days before he exclaimed - "Do we have to go through this shit every day?!" As soon as people gathered on this lovely day to find out who was missing and what was happening (lovely days had around 1/115 chance of occuring), Haris was nowhere to be seen. The crowd grew restless and slowly, but steadily advanced towards him home. When they found him, still asleep in his bed, people started to panicking - "He's never going to wake up!" People, to be sure that he indeed would never wake up, put in a shovel into his head... Then they rinsed and repeated the same action another 99 times just to be sure.

Image
That shovel might not have been as friendly as everyone first thought.

Campin_Killer, Haris Pilton - Mafia Guard, has been lynched. You have 48h to 72 hours to send in your actions.

Uh huh.

Except the wagon I led on him began before people pointed out that his "active lurking" was really him being inactive.

Never heard of them. Feel free to PM me about them.

Anyways, ENOUGH. NO MORE TALKING.

Post-Apocalyptic Mafia - Day 4. The Night of Long Knives.

Post by Commander9 »

Before the night came, town was exhausted, but happy. They managed to kill a member of a syndicate and the future looked bright - the world was within their reach! The serenity was not to last...

Image
Genghis who?

Alexander the Great was the greatest General who has ever lived... Or so he thought. He had trust and unbeatable phalanx at his side and was cruising from victory - the world was at his knees! NOTHING could stop him! And then he died. Twice.

Charles Winston had been an ordinary man, but the loss of his whole family to the munch eating and crunching zombies was too much for him to bare - he got out of his head. He was sent with an asylum and allegedly a doctor from Rome was coming to check his case, but then everything went wrong... Zombies got into the asylum, but Charles was strong and intelligent enough to escape, but the doctor had been so lucky - humans were a bit more dangerous than zombies.

Charles has been wondering ever since, sending out his imaginary armies to kill sometimes, which had never worked and he never understood how the mighty troops of Alexander the Great were not able to take down an old man in a chair. One evening, he was plotting his next scheme how to conquer the world, but he was so concentrated into his thoughts that he never noticed a shadow. He was walking and he did so for the next minute as well... Just without the head.

MeDeFe, Alexander the Great - Conqueror of the World (An insane escapee from the asylum), has been killed.

No exagerration here - it IS tasty ;)

Joe Average has always been an average man: average height, average looks, average brain, average home, average wife, average life. The Apocalypse gave him a chance to step-up and emerge as someone, but he didn't take it. Joe Average is still average.

Not being too smart, he rarely participated in any discussions either - he just couldn't comprehend what was going on. He would get up, put on his clothes, drink a cup of coffee, go dig the graves, go back home, drink some tea, go back to bed. And again. And again. And again...

Until finally decided to put him out of his misery - besides, handling and shooting a gun was soo fun, especially when someone else approved it!

Fircoal, Joe Average – average man, has been killed.

So it is looking like this game is a mess. 4 confirmed factions, possibly a fifth due to the number of kills floating around. This is not a simple game. Any leads from the night?
