Hillbilly Feudal Warfare
So you make this map with Hillbillys in the Ozarks and stuff. Hatfields and McCoys!

Clan wars (not CC clans) certainly could make a good CC map. The Clanton-Earp clan war made famous in Tombstone/the OK Corral, the Hatfields/McCoys, those are interesting times that are mostly unknown today.
Futhermore, a related type of topic (also in Missouri) would be the MO-KS Border war, which had a familiar cycle of violence and counter-violence that spiralled out of control into raiding, murder and eventually no-quarter wholesale vengeance.
