If he'd said, "He's just some little fat boy"...or "white boy"...or "Christian boy",...or "Jewish boy", you wouldn't have cared. I guess hypersensitivity has reached even Conquer Club. O well, I guess that's the world we live in. When you get a chance, go look up the word bigotry. I think you'll see what this guy said hardly fits that category.

Technically you're a wimp. Man up a little and use the foe list if you have such big problems with human interaction. You have to realize that you'll always get the opportunity to get upset, to get offended, to get pissed off etc. due to what other people say and do. To file reports like this is just silly.

I disagree there are pleanty of other things to call someone like a c*** for example you dont have to be bigoted about it. The site needs to make a decision, if this is ok, then we can all do it and anyone who files a report in the future would be warned for a spurious report or alternatively if its not ok then they get a warning about future conduct. Personally i dont find it offensive, someone called me a faggot in a game a few weeks ago and i brush it off but in this diverse world we live in, it is not acceptable in the real world, then why should it be acceptable here. Its a form of cyber bullying if you ask me.

It's not an anti-religious avatar. The avatar is meant for Atheist who are, for whatever reason, not wanting to be public with their beliefs.

And I understand why many of you think I am being overly dramatic here. Well, honestly I did not take offense to the statement, I could care less about what madgoody thinks of me, I myself am not a homosexual, however I know many who are and I have seen first hand the bullying many of them have received and the consequences of the bullying

Where is the line between ok and not ok with statements like these. I am sure that any homosexual would find these offensive and if nothing is done about it, then the problem will continue.

- If you make an off hand remark, would you want people to scream and behave like total jerks telling you what an asshole you are? Probably not.
- If you, on the other hand, behave like a complete ass continuously cursing at someone. Well, then you probably realize yourself that you have something coming.

ok then. I guess some people are more upset about this being reported in this forum than the actual comment. I am not by any means trying to get madgoody removed from the site, either temporarily or permanently. This is just not something I like to see in the chat. Yes, I have already placed madgoody on my foe list so I do not have to play with him anymore. However, a warning or whatever action that is taken (if any) may cause madgoody or any other player to think twice before they attempt to insult someone.

I could care less if he uses other ways to insult me, but when you try to degrade someone by using slurs referring to anyone's sexual orientation, religion, race, etc... it is unacceptable, no matter how slight or severe the case is.

Seriously? As a white, straight, police officer...I get called names, cussed at, lied about...all the time. TFO, you just proved my point: If you are gay and choose to have that victim mindset, you have the market cornered on being "offended". Not only is your hyper-sensitive mind constantly being protected by the PC police, your are allowed to name call with immunity.
