Whoah, don't go around and confirm someone's role there :o This should've been a PM.

Not that I care, but it'd have made the game harder for scum :p

yes it's just supposed to confirm that it was the claimed character. Next time I won't say anything to avoid confusion.

The moon was out again that night and the streets of Miami howled with predators. On one side of town, a man sat on his couch thinking about how he wanted to get recognition like any of those monsters did and how nothing he ever did was enough. The view from outside a window showed a bright flash accompanied by a loud bang. His body was discovered shortly afterwards as someone had complained about the noise. A gun was found and his body lay dead next to it.

Safariguy-Allen Matthews-third party hider has been killed.

Jordan Downs returned home after the successful arrest of another murderer. He had heard this one committed suicide but stuff like that never weighed heavily on his conscience just as long as they got him off the streets. Meanwhile across town Mary Ports was returning to her home. Like usual she had brought a couple of files home with her. Since her husband had past away she liked to pass the time looking over old police reports. Ironically for both of them neither heard as someone skillfully picked the locks on their doors, nor did they notice their attackers sneaking up on them until it was too late. They both struggled briefly but it wasn’t long before everything went dark. What happened from there the police are still piecing together, the only thing they do know is that one body had been found cut to pieces in the manner of a recent string of murders and another person had gone missing all together. A brief search of their homes and items and it was clear who they were.

Drabod-Mary Ports-Tracker has been killed.

Ga7-Jordan Downs-Paranoid cop/1 shot vig has been killed.

Damn that's a bloody night in a small game like this.

Firstly: ga7 was paranoid? Guess we're lucky we were onto a serial killer of his lead. The night scene seems to suggest that he perhaps used his night shot on drabod, or perhaps there were multiple assailants.

Safari was likely killed by Ga7. Ga7 was ex military, a flashbang is his style.

The murder that was like the string of murders is out serial killer, the main bad guy. Either a doc guessed well last night or there was a roleblocker.

Unfortunately Dexter killed as well, he was the disappearance. Perhaps he only has to kill at certain times IDK why he did not kill last night.

Any leads or do we to the traditional scumhunt?

I'll reread through this thread later today. At this moment, I'm clueless.

Haha. Then he killed himself.

Ima claim. I'm a town busdriver and drove Safari with Ga7 (which seems like an obvious choice to me). I think Saf hid behind Frenchie and Frenchie killed himself. This really does make me laugh, sorry about that :p

It is a bloody night but technically there were only 2 kills. One was by a vig, in that case another was by an SK or a mafia.

I unfortunately have no clue who is which at this point..

Are you certain? This really doesn't not fit with the flavor and really fucks with what I assumed happened burring the night.

Have read the thread at last, and have a few thoughts. First, on a purely whinging note, it's a bit frustrating how central Dexter knowledge seems to be to the gameplay, what with the clues apparantly in the death scenes. It's made worse by the changed character names which seem to serve the sole purpose of making wikipedia research more gruelling for those who haven't watched Dexter.

Anyway, there seems to be some suggestion that we might not have a mafia at all and instead just SKs. Dexter-watchers: how likely is this? I'm going to read the wiki entry on Dexter before posting anything further since traditional scum-hunting (and I do think I have reads on some people) seems to be only half the game here,

Mafia is almost inconceivable... All SKs, Vigs, Cops, Watchers, etc.

Has anyone been reading here at all? Remember when SW said that there's going to be SK mafia only? You know.... this is it... There's no mafia - only separate SK's and town. Most likely no one who anyone else is, but there might be a couple of exceptions.
But... It was so artistically done.

Safari hiding behind ga7 wouldn't have resulted in safari's death as his action would have been redirected to himself i.e. negated. It's also apparant from the flavour that there were three different killers.

I'm baffled that you would choose to busdrive a proven town power role who in all likelyhood would have a doctor protecting him. Since you've half-claimed can you tell us your character name?

edocsi/dexter watchers- can you tell us the real character names of the three who died?

yup.

Anarkist weren't you gonna post some case against Illy and/or Drabod? I'm awaiting.

Actually in retrospect Iliad has been submarining big time. He only has 4 posts. And all he did was jump on the easy nag BW.
