Not sure if it's been discussed before, but what about a world map that looks kind of like this:



By "looking like this", I mean with the style of the polar areas emphasized and the hemispheres opposite of each other.

It could have old empire names and some other cool things if someone is up to it, feel free to use this idea as I can't draw maps. However, if someone does make it, I'd like to do the XML.

I like the idea. I thought about this for Colonize the World, but it was hard with "old" sizes. now with supersize this could be interesting map...

Yeah, I think this could be a good supersize map, now that you mention it.
