it is alright. i dont think it qualifies as influential at all though. i am dissapointed in modern rock. Sure it has its few good bands, but i think that classic rock like aerosmith and AC/DC will never get old.

Neither of those
Audioslave is awesome.
Modest Mouse is fucking insane. Especially that new album.
But their best album would have to be The Lonesome Crowded West.

Presley was a hack. Every thing he did came from black musicians before him.
Holy shit, thank you for saying that. I hate people who praise Elvis even though they know nothing of his music.

But in all seriousness if we are talking about real rock bands;
Led Zep
Sex Pistols
Beatles
Nirvana
ACDC
Each one of the bands above have lead the way into a new movement of music, scene and pop culture.
All these bands are untouchable!

Ok, not one of the best bands, but does anyone know Silvertide? They sound like a great party band. Give "I Ain't Coming Home" a try.

i love pink floyd, but it doesnt crack my top 5. They have many good songs, but their are also a lot of fairly bad songs. As for the sex pistols, i have heard of them, but not of their music.
