Wait, am I forgetting something? how do you know they have no kills? i could definitely see edoc having some JOAT abilities like me in Restaurant mafia.safariguy5 wrote:Based on the day kill, it really sounds like Trinity made the kill. "I don't have time for this shit" is the line she says right after Merovingen made that long speech about wanting the oracle's eyes and Trinity provokes the Mexican Standoff. Looks to me like a Trinity role is confirmed.
Here's the problem with the argument on edoc that I see. I can buy that he might have a secondary win condition. I can also plausibly see how this might be the death of oracle. However, nobody in his faction has a killing role. So how exactly is he going to kill Sax now? He could maybe pray that the agents do it, but I'm pretty sure the doc role or seraph is probably protecting the oracle right now. The number 1 thing here is getting rid of the agents. I think that's what we need to focus on and not beat this merovingen argument again.

So are you affiliated with them? Everyone else has switched their votes... I wouldnt say that this was scummy but your not putting him at l-2. In fact the only active people who havent voted him are you and dlanor...Haggis_McMutton wrote:Wait, am I forgetting something? how do you know they have no kills? i could definitely see edoc having some JOAT abilities like me in Restaurant mafia.safariguy5 wrote:Based on the day kill, it really sounds like Trinity made the kill. Actually the more I think of it, I'm pretty sure he must have some extra win conditions. A 3rd party survivor with 2 goons(including 1 bodyguard) just makes no sense. and I really don't see how this extra condition could play in the favour of town.
However, prodding the inactives is something that must also be done and Knox reaction is very interesting. It does seem likely there's a tie there.
So yeah, we might as well see what / has to say. I'm not switching my vote as he's already at L-3, I believe.
Also, maybe he should be prodded?
Again, what is it with you people and voting. Do you think that he's reading this thread and going "Hmm, I'm at L-3 no need to post yet, I'll wait till I'm at L-2"?TheSaxlad wrote:So are you affiliated with them? And it doesn't really serve a positive purpose to speculate on a role in a group that's been proven third party survivor. We need to be wary of any secondary win condition they might have but it doesn't serve much purpose to speculate on their claimed bodyguard.edocsil wrote:It is because that is what I and the Twins have told you.Commander9 wrote:I'm not sure why you think that Twins is a bodyguard either - it could be a different role.strike wolf wrote:Edoc is more than just a regular survivor, the mere fact he has a faction proves that. You should have been reading the thread anyway, if you are a player in the game. I wish I knew this before I tried to read through all of this thread (and fail at it x3)

This is quite an interesting move, "Whoever neo is, raise your hand", the justification is horribly scummy, so what if he can't be recruited? as far as was known at the time, sax was impeded, we know now the likely cause, but at the time it could have just as likely been a mafia roleblocker or the like, giving plenty of justification on why we don't want scum knowing the main character.edocsil wrote:Why the f*ck not? Seriously?edocsil wrote:Come on boys, Commander is fucking Neo. Obviously I m not 100% on this, but how many characters would be told not to trust me? Also, the Oracle understands Smith, he is just a program. She correctly predicts many of his actions in the movies. Neo, the One is the enigma, the one she cannot understand. Honestly I cannot understand why a investigation was spent on him, I could think of several better targets, and I also had him pegged for one of the big three, Neo, Morpheus, or Trinity before the night, and this investigation only makes me more confident of my conclusion.
In the chance that I am wrong I really hope the real deal speaks up now.
I don't have time to adress the case on me right now, I will later but I had to post this.
For f*ck's sake, no one needs to reveal their role right now, especially not Neo.
hmmm there seems to be a bloodthirsty agent on the loose, which you yourself acknowledge just one page before saying the only thing neo needs to fear is recruitment. This is role-fishing at it's worst.edocsil wrote:Perhaps just the one with the kill. So what? You think I have been recruited? Tell me, what is the point of recruiting or killing a Survivor? None at all, it doesn't help the scum at all, and that combined with NKs is why I have acted the way I have. I have no desire to be the target of NKs and recruitment because I want to win./ wrote:Bah, this is the hardest read I've ever had to do, 7/8 posts seem to be random flavor drivel, The one who sticks out in my mind is once again Edoc, the reasons have nothing to do with my reasons the previous day, I fully believe he has told the truth about the role he was given, I simply don't think it is the role he has now.
Point one, known claimed roles as of night one were 00icon, sax, fircoal and edoc, of these 00icon proved no threat to scum, Sax is the main threat to scum, edoc could go either way. As Sax is the main threat, he is the obvious target, he is the most likely to be recruited and perhaps more important to a smart agent, he is the most likely to be watched, therefor it is likely he wasn't recruited. Fir obviously wasn't recruited, 00icon wouldn't have been recruited except in a terrible long term strategy. This leaves edoc, who has a unique combination of power, (buletproofness) influence (two third parties on his side), and most importantly, no town looking after his safety as he is third party.
Point two, the fact he does not run his own mafia puts him in an ideal spot to make outrageous moves on behalf of scum, he has repetitively fallen back on his difference from a traditional mafia to justify his own innocence. This is the most overt action he has made against town since the beginning of day two (when he has theoretically been recruited)

Well it would at least add some more to their ranks or delay a lynch on one of them, in which case they could level the numbers a bit.edocsil wrote:Tell me, what is the point of recruiting or killing a Survivor? None at all, it doesn't help the scum at all...
