As the day began, the town was reeling from 3 town kills in the night. Discussion basically centered on the apparently scummy relationship that kernov and drabod had. Despite his profession that he was Doc Brown the younger, kernov's appeals fell on deaf ears when AD claimed the same role. kernov was summarily hauled off to the gallows.

Thoughts and Observations

I wanted to capture the essence of Back to the Future with the different storylines. This also would make a massclaim undesirable as multiple people would have the same name (can be a problem in smaller games).

The Terrorist was able to sacrifice himself to kill someone. This would have been unblockable (Hat tip to Victor for using this in a game that I was in).

I did forgo a traditional doc-cop power roles for JOAT and inventor. I figured the game wasn't going to last particularly long with the Terrorist, so 3 nights actions for inventor was enough.

It's a good lesson for town killing roles. Be careful about who you kill. Blind kills, especially in the beginning can be crippling.

Nice fake counterclaim there AD, I have to say though, mafia didn't have to do a whole lot here.

Hope Hank and DoomYoshi had fun, maybe you guys will stick around mafia and see what other games are like.

Thanks for playing everyone and I plan on running a large Pirates of the Caribbean themed game once I get all the balance issues ironed out.

Congrats to Nark and the gang! Well played guys.. and no offence Kernov but you really fucked the town in this one and I hold you 100% responsible. I don't think I've ever said that before but the breakdown of your actions were to accuse your ill friend of lying and get him lynched, kill of a lover on a whim hence taking out 2 townies (a totally dumb idea to be so dangerous with a vigilante power) and then finally get yourself lynched for your f*ck up on day 1. Never play around vigilante powers so riskily, and also don't accuse your pals of lying unless you KNOW the facts for yourself. Well done Vio for calling it correctly and I apologise for trusting Kernov's words, perhaps I am getting rusty in my old age.

The death of the lovers on night 1 was crippling for town. After that we just needed to make sure the day 2 lynch wasn't dragged out. On a personal note I was a bit disappointed not to have to use my suicide kill, or at least be forced to make a tough choice about it, but it was fun being the bad guys for a change

If I had ever been in his shoes I would defenitely not decide to cheat on my reallife friend, get him lynched while he is a towny, decide to kill the most active towny in the previous day discussion, ignore all questions and accusations on day 2 and let a fake counterclaim catch me.

Kernov, you played like an idiot. I really have nothing more to say on the matter.

That was pretty much my thinking, but I was very suspicious of him after that. However I made a complete mess of trying to 'frame' him.
