It is the first Verne novel in which he perfected the "ingredients" of his later work, skillfully mixing a plot full of adventure and twists that hold the reader's interest with passages of technical, geographic, and historic description. The book gives readers a glimpse of the exploration of Africa, which was still not completely known to Europeans of the time, with explorers traveling all over the continent in search of its secrets. Map = AFRICA
Rules = 4 players game, automatic, sequential, flat rate, chained, fog on.
1st and 2nd = advance to 2nd round.
3rd and 4th = eliminated
Points = 1st get 10pts, 2nd get 7 points, 3rd get 3 pts and 4th get 0 pts.
Number of players playing that round = 256
Players left after that round = 128

Freemiums who reach ACT II must keep 2 spots left and 3 for the last book in ACTII 1st round

Travel made in balloon across Africa.

Secret diplomacy is not allowed, but diplomacy is... Just let the other players know in game chat.
Games are singles, team games only come in ACT III

Earn 16 or more objectives = General Achievement Medal
Be the first to get 22 objectives = 1 year premium

I tried to organize an interesting tournament, based on Jules Verne's books and novels.
All pm's announcing rounds will be filled with covers and any others maps or indication to set the mood.

I invited four players to each game. However, quite a few have failed to accept their invitations. Some of these are freemiums who don't currently have a slot open, and DJENRE wants to be patient and give them a day or two to get out of their other commitments before giving their spot to a reserve.

No, I don't think I phrased the question correctly.

I totally agree that spots should be filled by reserves in the order they signed up, that is perfectly correct. What I'm saying is, if a reserve comes in (without a team) can we ask him to join our team?

We have another problem. Game 8662634 has an invite to the player Craig. Craig only visited once, in 2006, and joined only one game. There must be some mistake.

This one has been straightened out successfully. The correct player in the tournament should have been Craig25. He was incorrectly listed as Craig in the list of players. I have sent an invite to Craig25.

I have disqualified three more players who have rejected their game invites and/or let them expire twice or in a couple cases three times. Three reserves are being activated.

There are two players who have let their invites expire two or more times, but I have made exceptions for them and invited them again.

Kabalistik and dementia13 are freemium players stuck in 4 games. They have now let their Jules Verne invites expire twice, but I did NOT disqualify them because I reviewed the games they are in and see that they are making an honest effort in those games to get themselves killed.

Keep trying, gentlemen, and I will renew your invites one more time if necessary. If anybody is in games with them, please do the right thing and administer the coup de grace, thank you...
