3rd to finals!!!!!
Moderator: Tournament Directors

I'm out after this current set of games. When I signed up, it was for the opportunity to competed against solid players on World 2.0 if I survived a tough continental round. I understood the World round to be tougher for the leader as the round progressed b/c people would be more weary of losing. That and the vastness of the map made it excitingly competitive. Classic is not at all the same type of map. Players really just have to play their lay and the standings are almost not relevant due to the stacking formula in escalating classic. It's now became more of a combined matter of specialization and luck.ViperOverLord wrote:Going from World to Classic is wussy.
You should have let them drop IMO. People that complain about multiplayer decisions should avoid multiplayer situations. I personally only do so many multiplayer games b/c of the craziness that results. Tension is always there for multiplayer games that does not exist in 1 v 1 or teams.benga wrote:Zion along Maid would drop so to keep the finals going
I changed to Classic and there was no response from you sooner.
Understand your reasons and thanks for playing so far.
You can blame me if you like. I made my opinion known. My primary complaint was the length of these games on that map, not the nature of the multiplayer strategy involved in this type of tournament. I've played many tournaments with all the players here and have never dropped out before. I'm happy the switch was made because it would have been my first abandoned tourney and I didn't want to do that.ViperOverLord wrote:You should have let them drop IMO. I do give you credit for being flexible and adaptable and so perhaps I'm just being a hardliner. Certainly no hard feelings here but I would recommend just finding formats you believe in and sticking with them wherever possible.
