Lisa Lance was in trouble. With the Captain dead, she was the next in line to take all the crap from the media and while she had made her mark as a skillful word artist, it only takes one slip in this industry to turn everyone against you. Now even her coworkers wanted her dead for spilling some info that made them believe she was a killer. She hardly noticed though, she was too busy trying to return that cop back to vice. So it was quite a surprise as she was eating her lunch to hear the door smashed in and the food get lodged at her wind pipe. By the time they had gotten to her she had already suffocated.

Tony Bailes hobbled along his apartment. After his incident even the most simple routines had become difficult. He tried not to think back at how it became this way…the person who did was dead that was all that mattered and the sooner he could leave those memories behind the better. The physical damage was bad enough but the dreams were much worse…always the same…blindfolded and dark only the sounds of his own high-pitched screams and a saw blade piercing through the nothingness…every night he woke up to that nightmare and every time it only seemed to get worse. He had not slept and yet was afraid to close his eyes. He did not have long to dwell on this anymore as a man shot out of the darkness and Tony froze with terror as it happened again.

Tony Bailes never showed up for physical therapy the net morning. Again a missing person’s report was filed but he would not be found.

Dennis Johnson sat alone in his apartment. It had been his safe haven for so long but lately it hadn’t felt like it. The walls were closing in. He had been so careful yet all around him people were discovering the truth. He was on unfamiliar ground something neither he nor his passenger were comfortable with. The mask was slipping and it didn’t end there. While the person responsible had been taken care of by his own hand a recent serial killer had shaken him in a way he had never thought possible. Brian Moser or more commonly known by his moniker “The Ice Truck Killer” had managed to uncover long forgotten memories in the world of dark demented Dexter. Worse research after his death brought forth stunning revelations of its own.

“It’s all fallen apart”. In his thoughts he wished he may have been thought of as a civil servant to the community…in his weaker moments maybe even a hero. But now there was no illusions of grandeur. He was a killer and there was innocent blood on his hands. He packed up his killing gear in the usual place, took one last look at his blood slides and headed to sleep. Failing for the first time to lock the door.

The apartment in the morning was surrounded by police tape. However if you had asked it’s resident it wouldn’t have been in the fashion he ever expected. While the crime scene didn’t gather the media frenzy of some other recent deaths in the town but for the Homicide Department, this one struck just as hard. Dennis Johnson lay dead on his bed with the gun laying next to him. And on his face, the same emotionless expression he wore every day.

Well, I am Debra Morgan. When the Ice Truck Killer was alive, my being alive would ensure he showed up scum under investigation. After he died, my only ability left was being bulletproof because Dexter protected me. Now I'm just a VT.

I am immune to all NKs beyond Dexter's, hence the current claim. Safaris claim is there for you to see and his character is almost guarantied to be in the game. This leaves Commander and Ta1lgunn3r. IMO they should both be scum and I am going to vote TG because I protected the commie last night. I was getting town vibes from him, we will see.
