Both of you... if you plan on doing your own graphics, you need to learn gimp. It is totally impossible to create adequate graphics on paint.40kguy wrote:maybe i will use paint for my map. thanks and this is a really nice mapDarthFrog wrote:Nope, paint. I downloaded GIMP, and I'm such an amateur at this graphic thing, it's really frustrating. I can do the basics, but to get a really nice looking map, it would take someone willing to help with graphics. Can you point me in the direction of those willing to help with graphic-retarded folks like me?natty_dread wrote:Both of you... if you plan on doing your own graphics, you need to learn gimp. Maybe if the house was a multi-floor mansion...with things to be stolen.Industrial Helix wrote:I'm starting to fall in love with Supermax after years of avoid it... I wonder if there is opportunity for a sort of 'sequel.' I don't think a house would work all that great but maybe something like a hostage situation at a bank or something could work. I dunno, its tough to come up with a good scenario without totally ripping off Supermax.
I'm working on a comprehensive GIMP mapmaking tutorial. I haven't had time to work on it much what with all kinds of stuff to do but I'll try to finish it within the next week or so. I'm not promising anything though.DarthFrog wrote: I downloaded GIMP, and I'm such an amateur at this graphic thing, it's really frustrating. Really, if your attention span is that short, then how do you expect to be able to produce a map, which usually takes around 6 months from start to end?
