It's now Thursday. Where are all of you on votes for a lynch? I'm really thinking Fircola, but I've been wrong before.

I'm gonna have to go out on a limb here and vote Fircoal

He doesn't look too scummy to me, but he's not looking that innocent either and he isn't sticking with his usual character.

I'm hoping someone has a better case to persuade me, but meh.... we can't really go with a no lynch.

I would have to agree with everyone that fircoal would be the best choice however i still don't really think he is mafia.

So it seems that the predominant opinion about spin is town. I can get on board with that. FD made a good point about the whole captain concept...

as far as who to lynch... fircoal is definitely on my shortlist. I hesitate to vote for someone based on 'he's acting weird', but there's not a to else to go on.

I'm gonna need to ponder. I'll vote later this afternoon or evening.

I'm surprised by that as well. Either I'm spot on with the guys I'm calling scum (Fircola & Exile), or I'm dead wrong but leading you guys in the wrong direction with those two. I sure hope it's the former.

Both fircoal and exile look at least somewhat mafia to me.

The problem is that neither of them are anything like a slam dunk.

The additional problem is that, barring divine intervention, it's pretty much down to one or the other.

So, in a situation like this, I can only try and reason things out. And my thinking leads me to this question: if I'm wrong, who would I prefer to remain alive?

The answer to that can only be fircoal. I imagine some sort of investigative agency might want to have a gander at him at some point, but for the moment...

Well, let me put it this way. If I'm wrong, and they're both town, I'd rather fircoal still be alive than exile. It's a hard way of looking at things.

However, it might be the wrong way to look at things. Remember, one of the reasons that we're thinking of lynching fircoal is that he's been singularly unhelpful, which is aberrant behavior. So it's not like he's been a big help thus far, nor should we expect his productivity to pick up, given his multifarious RL engagements.

Plus, if he does turn out to be mafia, and given at least one other mafioso, it's likely that he's the vet with an inexperienced partner or two (or three, but if it's three we're probably fucked), who should be easy to round up.

Clearly I'm torn. But a vote for fircoal would put him at lynch -1, and that doesn't strike me as being a very intelligent move, especially given that it's the wee hours.

But I will almost certainly be back on some hours (at least 3) before the deadline... and as always we'll see how it goes.
