You are quite right. I implore every member of THOTA (and assorted wannabes) to remember that this is just a game, and to refrain from dirtying the name of this superb clan competition with their ludicrous, hyped-up like toddlers-on-the-sugar, personal attacks.

So far the BpB have managed to keep to the higher ground, to rise above the stinking depths THOTA have been plunging into...but I think even we (CC's very guardians of morality) have our limits. I can't promise that squishy won't be whipping off her bra, unleashing her big daddy and plunging elbow deep (and I don't mean metaphorically...oh no) into THOTA's prone, flatulent rear. She would be quite justified even now, but only the calming words of Fc - a shining light of tolerance as we all know - restrains her.

What happens if I have first turn, but must sit 12 hours. Now I only have 12 hours left and could miss. (Yes I am married, and work full time which requires travel). If the first player misses, I think the 2nd team should miss a turn as well.

Adn when we play classic, no one should be able to attack Jakarta on Round #5. That is my rule. Abide by it, or forfeit.

I am ofcourse not aware of the exact rule your clanleader agreed upon, but it seems that the rule Thota usually uses states that you wait 12 hours OR less if a snapshot has been taken by the other team) OR if you simply post in the gamechat was should have been visiable before you attacked.
The last is quite easy to do, and you can start your turn right away.

remember it means you only need to show what was changed. So if an attack failed. nothing to show. if your attack succeeded, then all you have to show is the territory that was taken, and any country now invisiable they could see with a colour.

so if someone would have take Egypt: Nubia and take the terit of Jebel Barkal on turn one.
You can simply state:
Taken Jebel Berkal. It could see Kewal red, and Kurgus neutral. Have fun!

and start your turn right away.
