I was looking in the bible and i found this map and thought, why not make it a risk map... All of my other maps arent getting suggestions so i didnt really have anything to work on so i went for it.

Thoughts Ideas, or should i just bag it.

Please finish a map... France recieved lots of feedback I'm pretty sure.

This map looks ok, though the continents are a bit odd, eg. 3 countries, 3 borders. Seems like it's going to be pretty hard to hold any of the continents on this map.

Also it's slightly smaller than most maps at 34?ish territories, which might not be a problem if you're intending it to be played by smaller numbers, but yeah keep it in mind.

And the graphics could use a lot of work.

This map kinda makes me uncomfortable.

I agree that it would be a good idea to finish one of your other maps before starting in on a new one.

there is supposed to be a river at gergesa..here are the numbers i have
Gaililee 6-3-3
Samaria- 6-5-4
Judea- 8-2-3
Iturea- 4-2-2
Decapolis-5-3-4
Perea 3-3-3

I sort of have add, so I'm always starting new stuff. I will finish the other ones.

Is it the giant picture of Christ with the thorns embedded in his forehead by any chance? I think that's blood running down his cheek too. . .

I think it's just kinda awkward because it's a real life conflict area. Kind of why a detailed map of Iraq would be a little awkward right now...little cartoons of fortified perimeter walls and suicide bombers, etc...otherwise I would really like to play a map like this, familiarize with some significant place names...just since there's actual people dying there day to day, watching the number of my green armies dwindle against a teal onslaught would just be in bad taste...

for me personally, as a christian, its not so much as it being a conflict area but more of the fact that it is Christ here (sorry to bring religion into this)

I am focusing on it. Make a new map and it gets more posts on the old ones. Also anyone know how to make mountains look realistic. This map was me experimenting from taking pictures from scans of real risk maps. I dont like how they look.

After updating france i decided to make some changes and came up with

there is this which is my update with regular borders on it..

then i applied a bevel to the countries...

which is prefered?

I also added a couple of countries and replaced the picture of jesus with a cross.
