Do you want there to be?mkcummins wrote:is there a fog rule in place?
precisely how i would prefer to play it, though we got a bit anxious in a couple games and just explained our first moves to the other team.Pyrhhus wrote:Invites have been sent out for the Finals, there shall be no breathing room Leehar.
There is no official fog rule and I will not enforce one here, but I do urge all competitors to allow your opponents 12 hours to see the map before the first turn is taken. For those not going first I also consider it customary to inform the other team when you have gotten your look. It's an honor thing.

I am slightly confused. How did the game starting right away effect it's result? Do you mean you wanted to get in a practice game or something? I know there is some trepidation about fog games sometimes, and if you only have one time of day at which you can accept an invite before it expires, you could PM your opponents to discuss the fog issue. I do not mean to sound critical, I just don't know what you mean.Leehar wrote:I would've preferred that breathing room since perhaps it could have given us more a chance in siege, but still definitely well played by our opponents to push us out of contention there so easily.
