Ridiculously Funny South Park Quotes
Mr. Mackey

“M’kay, kids, you shouldn’t do drugs, m’kay, drugs are bad...what I’m talking about might save your life some day… Drugs are bad. You shouldn’t do drugs. If you do them, you’re bad, because drugs are bad. It’s a bad thing to do drugs, so don’t be bad by doing drugs, m’kay, that’d be bad”
Watch the hilarious scene if you haven't encountered it already, in Season 2, Episode 4: "Ike's Wee Wee"
Underpants Gnomes

Stan: I don't get it.
Underpants Gnome: You see, Phase 1: Collect Underpants. Phase 2:...Phase 3: Profit
Cartman: Oh, I get it!
Stan: No you don't fat-ass!

Chewbacca Defense

Chef, one of the kids' greatest role models, sues a big-time record company for stealing a song that he wrote years before, "Stinky Britches". The rich corporation hires lawyer Jonny Cochram who, despite the apparent clear-cut evidence presented by Chef and the great support from the South Park community, convinces the jury to side with the record company through his infamous "Chewbacca Defense", in which he utterly distracts the jury through a confusing fictional creature on another planet. The episode mocks the O.J. Simpson trial and the controversies of the U.S. courts. Check out the clip below, the quotes are below!

Cochran
...ladies and gentlemen of this supposed jury, I have one final thing I want you to consider. Ladies and gentlemen, this is Chewbacca. Chewbacca is a Wookiee from the planet Kashyyyk. But Chewbacca lives on the planet Endor. Now think about it; that does not make sense!
Gerald Broflovski
Dammit! ... He's using the Chewbacca defense!
Cochran
Why would a Wookiee, an 8-foot-tall Wookiee, want to live on Endor, with a bunch of 2-foot-tall Ewoks? That does not make sense! But more important, you have to ask yourself: What does this have to do with this case? Nothing. Ladies and gentlemen, it has nothing to do with this case! It does not make sense! Look at me. I'm a lawyer defending a major record company, and I'm talkin' about Chewbacca! Does that make sense? Ladies and gentlemen, I am not making any sense! None of this makes sense! And so you have to remember, when you're in that jury room deliberatin' and conjugatin' the Emancipation Proclamation, does it make sense? No! Ladies and gentlemen of this supposed jury, it does not make sense! If Chewbacca lives on Endor, you must acquit! The defense rests.[2]
It Does Not Make Sense!
Boring Baseball

The South Park children are bored to death with America's national pastime, the great game of baseball! Baseball is indeed a very exciting sport, but it does have much downtime, as players sit around waiting their turn to bat or waiting for the ball to be hit to them. The South Park episode, Season 9 Episode 5, captures the great and sometimes obsessive passion for baseball. Indeed, Randy Marsh gets in a fight with an opposing team's parent, and everyone thinks the kids actually enjoy the game. Click on the link below to see the video.

If you enjoy the Comedy Central TV show "South Park", this simple tournament is a chance for you to lead your favorite character to victory!
The South Park Showdown will challenge 36 players (36 South Park characters) in a slew of 6-player Standard and Assassin games, and 1v1 games.
The tournament will feature 3 maps, based on different themes in South Park; USA Rockies (Colorado is the location of South Park), Doodle Earth (immature children always doodle in class, eh), and Random (South Park is often ridiculously random beyond belief).
To play, simply think of one South Park character that has appeared in an episode that for some reason you like. He or she can be the most obscure character in the show or the most popular character. It can also be a group of characters, like the Underpants Gnomes. After selecting a character that has NOT been chosen from the list below, choose 1 of the 3 maps previously mentioned (USA Rockies, Doodle Earth, or Random).
You will ONLY play on this 1 map you choose until the Final, so choose wisely...

Scoring System
- Winning a 1v1 game: +2 points
- Winning the Standard game: +5 points
- Winning the Assassin game: +5 points
There are 3 paths, based on the 3 maps previously discussed: USA Rockies Path, Doodle Earth Path, Random Path.
Each path has 12 players in it: 2 groups of 6 in each path. Upon joining and selecting one of the 3 paths, each player will be randomly assigned, using random.org, into 1 of the 2 groups. In the group the player is assigned to, the player is also assigned a random number, #1 through #6. Once all 36 players have joined, there are 3 paths, each having 2 groups of 6 players.
Stage I
The 3 phases shall take place in the following order.
The Standard Phase
The six players in each group will play in one, 6-player Standard game on the map of the path they chose (USA Rockies, Doodle Earth, or Random), with the Universal Settings. The winner of the game earns 5 points.
The 1v1 Phase
As previously mentioned, in each group there is a #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, and #6 player (randomly assigned upon joining). Players will play in 2-player games on the map of the path they chose, with the Universal Settings.
Players will face off in this fashion:
- Round 1
#1 player vs. #6 player
#2 player vs. #5 player
#3 player vs. #4 player - Round 2
#1 player vs. #5 player
#2 player vs. #3 player
#4 player vs. #6 player - Round 3
#1 player vs. #4 player
#3 player vs. #5 player
#2 player vs. #6 player - Round 4
#1 player vs. #3 player
#2 player vs. #4 player
#5 player vs. #6 player - Round 5
#1 player vs. #2 player
#3 player vs. #6 player
#4 player vs. #5 player
Each player earns 2 points per win in this phase.
The Assassin Phase
The six players in each group will play in one, 6-player Assassin game on the map of the path they chose, with the Universal Settings. The winner of the game earns 5 points.
After all 3 phases, the 3 players in each group with the most points advance to the next stage of the tournament. Thus, half of the players advance from this stage (18 players), and the other half of the players are eliminated.
Tiebreaker System
In the event that more than 2 players have the same number of points, then a Standard game shall be created in which only the tied players face each other, on the map of the path the players chose, with the Universal Settings. The winner of the game is ranked highest. The player that placed in second place is ranked next highest. The player that placed in third place is ranked next highest, etc. See Example I.
Example I:
In the Random path, Group A, Charles, Billy Ray, and Henry each have 7 points after all 3 phases. Therefore, they play in a 3-player Standard tiebreaker game on a Random map, with the Universal Settings. Billy Ray wins the game, so he is ranked highest. Charles gets second place, so he is ranked next highest. Henry gets third place, so he is ranked lowest of all three players.
Stage II
In Stage II, the 6 advancing players in each path (3 from each of the 2 groups in each path) are placed into a group of 6 players.
The aforementioned phases (Standard, 1v1, and Assassin) shall take place in the same order again in Stage 2, with the same Universal Settings, Scoring System and Tiebreaker System (repeating the entire method again).
After all 3 phases of Stage II, the 2 of 6 players that are ranked the highest (the 2 players with the most points; tiebreakers applied if necessary) in each group advance. The rest of the players are eliminated from the tournament. Therefore, only 6 of the 18 players in this stage advance. 12 are eliminated.
Championship
The last 6 players remaining are placed in 1 group of 6 players.
Now, the aforementioned phases (Standard, 1v1, and Assassin) shall take place in the same order again, with the same Universal Settings, Scoring System and Tiebreaker System. HOWEVER, the three phases will take place simultaneously, for each of the 3 maps. Therefore, there will be 3 Standard phases at the same time, one for the USA Rockies map, Doodle Earth map, and Random map. Then, each player will play 3 1v1 games at a time per round, one for each of the aforementioned maps. Finally, 3 Assassin games will be simultaneously created, one for each of the three maps. Essentially, the game load triples. Instead of one map being played at a time, all 3 maps are played at the time.
The scoring system remains the same, but the total number of points in this case will be 60, since there are 3 times as many games and phases.
To play, just click on "Post Reply" and write "I'm in" and the path/map of your choice ("USA Rockies", "Doodle Earth", "Random"). You will receive a private message upon entrance into the tournament. Once the tournament begins, I will post a list of games and standings board on the third post. I ask that you join your games within 72 hours, please
If you have any questions, feel free to ask,
Thanks,
James
