I don't understand why account sharing is allowed, i.e. two or more people sharing two or more accounts, yet having multiple accounts is grounds for dismissal. Can anyone justify this?

It's not allowed
Account SITTING is allowed, but you are only allowed to take turns for said person, nothing else.

I sent you a PM about this earlier from the game I was in, and I believe I explained everything. As the Community Guidelines state:
Community Guidelines wrote:Account-Sitting:
Players are allowed to account-sit for others as long as they are not opponents within the game. When sitting for a player, you need to post who you are and how long you will be sitting for the player so that other players in the game are aware of who they are actually playing.
Being on another player's account for ANY reasons other than taking turns when they are in danger of missing a turn, or posting to necessary Tournament or Clan related public forum topics, is not allowed. Abuse of this privilege can be considered account sharing and could result in a Bust for both accounts.

rds replied best to your question.
Clarification: You may sit for someone. But this is tied to limitations. You may only play to avoid missed turns, not to get an advantage. So playing turns at the same time in freestyle by the same player not so good. taking a turn in sequential because othwise the player would miss a turn is good. Taking a turn for a noob because he does not know how to play is not good. not taking a turn in non teamgames but taking turns in games where you are in is also not good.
Doing things that are not good may get you banned.

i am pretty certain the turns being taken on the AoN account are not by him as the nationality flag keeps changing but nothing is posted in chat.

so this would be considered account sharing ?
It might, does any of those players actually play/post or do anything on the account? It there reason to assume AoN is traveling?

turns are being taken & nothing is announced in chat. AoN has previously said he doesn't care who has his password as it's only CC. it looks like a shared account.
is there a reason AoN is not taking the turns? Edit just noticed OaN left CC.
Are games being played that are not tournaments games, and does AoN start those? Is there any reason (other then taking turns) that could indicate activity beyond the duty of a sitter? remember, announcing you are sitting is smart, since it saves you the trouble of getting a shared account argument with the mods, but its not mandatory. They can tell either way..
As it stantd, his clanmates are free to simply play the games that were already started, if any games get created or joined (that are not tournament games)after AoN left, thats sitter abuse. With tournament games its wiser to let the TO know AoN is gone and replace him...
Lets say there is a freestyle game doubles 8 players.
One player knows that he should play last but he can not be online that time. So he is doing the best which is not to play at all and miss his turn. Next turn the same happens. Everyone knows that if he do not play last it will be a disaster for him and it is better not to play at all again. Then his partner taking his turn the last 5 min in order not to miss for a second time (he is following the best strategy by playing both the accounts at the same time and win the game immediately). Is that good?
