Welcome to what will be my fifth tournament! Here I will accept 16 players, all of which must be premium. I will also take 2 reserves. In this tournament, players will compete in many different Standard games. For each game, a certain amount of the player's "money" will be bet, where the winner shall receive all of the loser's buy-ins. All games shall be Standard, Sequential, Automatic, Chained, Escalating, and Sunny.
Each player shall start with $1500, and then they will begin to gamble in the following ways: Spoiler
Round 1: $50 buy-in 8 player battle on Circus Maximus.
Round 2: $75 buy-in 4 player battle on Doodle Earth.
Round 3: $100 buy-in 1v1 battle on Cyprus.
Round 4: $200 buy-in 4 player battle on Classic.
Round 5: $250 buy-in 1v1 battle on Scotland.
Round 6: $325 buy-in 4 player battle on USA Rockies.
Round 7: $500 buy-in 4 group battle on USA New England.
After this, anyone who hasn't won any games will have run out of money. This will cause many of the future games to have uneven amounts of players, but it will be okay because the more players in the game, the higher the payout. Instead of sorting by how many players there will be, we will sort by how many groups there will be. So for example, if there was 13 players left, a 4-group game would have 1 group with 4, and 3 groups with 3. A 2-group game with 13 players would have one group of 7, and one group of 6. Spoiler
Round 8: $500 buy-in 1v1 battle on Australia.
Round 9: $600 buy-in 2 group battle on Italy.
Round 10: $750 buy-in 1v1 battle on Poker Club.
After Round 10, every game shall have the smallest amount of groups possible. Spoiler
Round 11: $1000 buy-in battle on Montreal.
Round 12: $1000 buy-in battle on Charleston.
Round 13: $1000-buy in on World 2.1.
Round 14: $1500 buy-in on Soviet Union.
Round 15: $2000 buy-in on San Francisco.
Round 16: $3000 buy-in on Netherlands.
Round 17: $5000 buy-in on Portugal.
Round 18: $10,000 buy-in on Classic.
Round 19: $12,000 buy-in on Classic.
Round 20: $12,000 buy-in on Classic.
$12,000 buy-in on Classic's will continue after that if need be...
Some clarifications:
Spoiler
It is very unlikely that this tournament shall last until round 20, realistically it will probably end around 16 or 17, however it is important to list them just in case
In the event of a player not having enough money to enter a round, that player will simply buy-in for the amount he has left. If that player loses, all of his money is gone and he is eliminated, and if he wins, he takes that much money from everyone else, while the rest of the pot would go to 2nd place.
Here is an example: Suppose Player A has $400, Player B has $1000, Player C has $1200, and Player D has $2000. If the buy-in for the game is $1000, and Player A wins, while Player C gets 2nd place; Player A would take $400 from each of the opponents, and then Player C would take $600 from Player B and Player D each.
The players shall be randomized for each round using random.org
In a 1v1 battle, if the buy-in is higher than at least one of the player's total money, the game shall be for that amount of money

This tournament thread has not been visibly updated in a while. By “visibly updated” I mean that the thread has not been bumped for at least 2 months by posting a new post or reply.
We routinely check the last few pages of the “Ongoing Tournaments” Forum for inactive tournaments. If your tournament thread is on those last pages, we have to check to see if your tournament is still active, which can be quite a lot of work.
Please help us in our quest to find inactive tournaments and update your thread regularly and then also post that you have updated it (if your tournament is still active). This will get the active threads and tournaments bumped to the first page, and significantly lessen our workload of checking for inactive tournaments.
For more information about updating your tournament thread and avoiding your tournament being labeled “inactive”, see also: Keeping Your Tournament Active & Updated
