Cult powers don't Transfer and Culties can't talk in the day. It's a bit of a jump to say that me and doom are cult because we could talk for one night. I have a better idea. Vote Evilchaos He sent me a PM in the last few hours of the day IIRC asking about the cult. Until then I had assumed that the cult threat was ended but now we have confirmation of a continued cult that I assume he knows something about.Commander9 wrote:So apparently recruiter's power transferred?... 1) You hammered with no near deadline. I think that's telling. Why would town hammer instead of getting as much info as possible out of the day?
Have you ever played with Shield before? He has a penchant for lying while claiming, often for no real reason. He claimed a killer, there was no point in taking the risk Com9 would have hammered shortly afterwards if I had not. I also hold a grudge against shield and think he should be black listed, I will go out of my way to hang him.
2) From flavor of the Night 1 scene, we know two people went to a door together and recruited someone for cult. We then know that you and Yoshi could talk the next day. Coincidence? I don't think so.
Also, your response to my original PM was interesting.
My first PM said something along the lines of "You're cult, right?"
He responded with something along the lines of "Well, that's interesting. Why do you say that?"
He wanted to know my reasoning behind him being a cultie, and didn't originally deny it. To town, it's more important to deny the claim and then ask for a case to give a proper defense. To scum, they want to find out what gave them away so they can correct it. He never even gave a defense later in the conversation. Just said "sorry, I'm not cult."
Think this one through, you ask about cult and I already have suspicions of you. Your ability to talk works both ways, you try to milk me for info I try to milk you. A noncommittal but vaguely interested response seemed the best way to try to get you to divulge information.
So, who did you roleblock Edoc?
I my action was against you I do not know it hit with the bus drivers.
JOHN SMITH IS AWESOME! NO EXCEPTIONS!

Well now that you got shield killed, I think the onus is also on you to at least claim, because you did say you would claim after shield did yesterday, and you didn't do so. Especially since shield was apparently telling the truth and was not mafia or Sker.Commander9 wrote:So apparently recruiter's power transferred?... I was roleblocked by someone. Not sure who, although Edoc said he targeted me. WIth busdrivers, who knows. Could have been Yoshi targeting someone else and hitting me. Did anyone switch me with someone?DoomYoshi wrote:I am wondering, evilchaos, did your mason powers work last night?

John Smith is the best person ever!

Your diligence to your PR does you credit, but that doesn't remove from you your need to make legible cases. If I may summarize. I voted for someone scummy (victor) who was double counterclaimed. I voted for MeDeFe, Who ended up being the cult leader (also a Wagon I helped form, didn't just jump on it at the end) And then I voted for the banana killer, whose flavor suggested he was trying to kill us. You have floated by a little more passively, and are more scummy for it. Do not cite activity for scumminess.snowvillage wrote:I hate to bring a dreary light onto our merry souls, but deep within me I feel a growing remorse for both edocsil and myself. Twice I questioned my faith in the two victims due to seeing the vibrations they stirred among the rest of you, only to see my faith validated when it was revealed these innocents were of pure heart. Yes, I was also hesitant about MeDeFe, and he did turn out to walk among the evildoers, but haste to kill is not justified when only 1 out of 3 targets deserve removal from Mother Earth.
It is time I sacrifice the cloak of patience that surrounds me, and release the inner passion that glows fierce. edocsil, your impatience and disregard for our council has left a blackened stain upon your aura, and your fury towards evilchaos, one whom I most passionately trust, only severs my bond with you further.

Yes, it's one thing to stick to a PR, it's another to use the PR as a cover for putting votes out there we no reasoning. I haven't seen many if any posts from snow that provide any evidence or quotes for voting anyone. This defense does not reveal any purity in you. Saying you voted for someone who you considered scummy has no substance if that person (Victor) wasn't very scummy, especially after he gave his defense, and especially since safari was the scummier counterclaim fmpov. I have no comment on the MeDeFe vote, as I'm not sure what dark alignments exist in this world and how they might operate. The most recent vote is what truly pushed my mind against you. Not only were shield's actions and words of noble stature, but I had just emphasized the importance of taking things slowly and pushing for more discussion. As soon as L-1 came about, you sealed the man's fate before it was possible for others to be swayed. So again, your 1 for 3 record, your lack of patience, and the acidic tone of your repeated defenses, which suggest no understanding of why you are greatly suspicious, can explain the fierce emotions being drawn from me.edocsil wrote:Your diligence to your PR does you credit, but that doesn't remove from you your need to make legible cases. I need no cover, for my passivity is a virtue. I have explained my suspicions on every individual, and you are twisting with exaggeration the manner of my actions. I do not just post fluff and follow it with a vote. If you look back, I have only voted 2-3 times, one of which was simply to retaliate and mark my presence as a dedicated, strong-willed aid for those in need. And are you suggesting perceptions are not a good reason to make votes? Perceptions are the driving force behind all of our actions, and it is in our best interest to foster them to become one with ourselves. If you find my reasoning against edocsil "fluffy" in anyway, speak your mind and I will fill the voids that lie within your understanding.safariguy5 wrote:Yes, it's one thing to stick to a PR, it's another to use the PR as a cover for putting votes out there we no reasoning. I switched evilchaos and edocsil last night. I didn't claim as there was no need. Since we did get the killer, I don't think my role is as useful now, so I don't mind claiming. I'm *BUZZ* *BUZZ* Benjamin Franklin, town Nexus and Lighting rod. Wait what? This can't be true. It is readily obvious that all the night actions haven't been hitting you. First of all, nice OMGUS. Secondly, the storm was my doing - that's why there were such odd results. I only submitted lightning rod on Night 2. Also, explain the recruitment part?edocsil wrote:Wait what? This can't be true. It is readily obvious that all the night actions haven't been hitting you. Yes, yes I have and I still think you are the last cultie.edocsil wrote:You have voted for me? Didn't realize, and it doesn't really mater. I have never heard of a selectable lightning rod, but that combined with the busdrivers interacting with the rod abilities it is possible.
If all actions every night hit you and the cult leader submitted a action you would have had to be recruited (or scum, scum can't be recruited, but there have been no kills so this is unlikely). However if the power was only activated when you desired this would not necessarily be the case.
Ahh, I misremembered what a nexus was. Damn. That becomes a powerful role and then the selectable Lightning Rod makes sense.Commander9 wrote:Yes, yes I have and I still think you are the last cultie.edocsil wrote:You have voted for me? Furthermore, I am also a nexus, so I reflect everything that is used on me, so I technically even *can't* be recruited.
