G1 is looking for a 1v1 only clan challenge

Generation One would like to challenge another clan to an entirely 1v1 challenge. We know that some clans won't be interested but are confident that there are other clans who also enjoy the 1v1 games as well and aren't afraid, but rather would welcome the chance to test their clan against the Bots.

We're generally looking for something along these lines
all series are best of 5.
Each series will be same map/settings for all 5 games
No freestyle, no manual, no speed, no beta maps
41 series overall, 20 home, 20 away, 1 neutral on Classic (no spoil, chained, sunny)
Each clan can use a map twice for home game but they must be played by different players
Each clan must have at least 12 different members play and no member can play more than 5 series

I think you should make it no unlimited forts too. Most maps. I'd say at least 90 percent will go to first turn with unlimited forts.

Sounds like something that can be determined during negotiations, but I would agree with you. Can't think of why anyone would choose Unlimited in a 1v1 on their home map.

I've got 4 other clans that have expressed interest (and collected at least 10 players). I'm wondering if some sort of mini league type of thing would be appropriate. Depending on the number of clans interested we could run a simple bracket, a double elimination or a round robin league.

How does skill and strategy come into a war of 1 vs 1 when whoever goes first with decent dice will win a majority of the games? Of course there are maps that going first isn't a huge advantage, but with all dice being equal which would you rather be?
