Vote Fircoal.
I would MUCH rather have a replacement than a daykill considering how close we are to a loss.

Agreed, we probably have 2 lynches at best. Better to have him come in and defend himself. And if he doesn't, then we lynch him.

Two is being very optomistic. I would say we need a scum lynch today, personally.

This doesn't fly with me. Please participate in the game or allow yourself to be replaced. While I understand not wanting to replace out, it is necessary if you don't have the time to play. Nothing personal against you, but lack of participation hurts everyone's game experience.
Not to be a Debbie Downer or anything, but I doubt if a replacement could be found this late in the game anyways. You're stuck with me =P

To bring attention back to the Fircoal case, I remembered something. He has a PR that I noticed (maybe), I don't think anyone else did, and I think he may have forgotten about it. His earlier posts:

http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewto ... t#p3178707

http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewto ... t#p3179179

He always addresses a player with an honorific (Mr.), however he doesn't in his third post regarding shield (maybe he forgot). This leads me to believe that he's the help. And from Day 3 scene:
/ wrote:The auctioneer's voice grew tired from managing his sales "Waiter, could you get me a glass of wine?" A man in a tuxedo walks up to him and hands him a glass from the tray, "Thank you..." he replies as he takes a sip. "Now the next item up for bid" he continues as he shows them a picture "Huh, I don't recall this one..." he holds a picture of an assassin's dagger by a bed "Wait, is that my room?!?" suddenly he starts to cough up blood and collapses.
Ergo, I believe that chu is responsible for DoomYoshi's death.

Thoughts?

Could be interesting. But the longer he doesn't talk and the closer we get to deadline, the more I'm inclined to off him or lynch him.

And at this point evil, I'm not sure how many mafia we have, seeing as how we've had DK's before as well as NK's. I'm leaning towards multiple SKer's, but I could be mistaken. So it might not be MLYLO but we are running out of time.

Hmm, that's a good catch by tails.

My first instinct was to say / wouldn't sell out someone with the flavour like that, but the connection is subtle enough as to be explained away by any competent player.

I think chu needs to be proded, I really want to hear what he has to say now.

Hey guys, sorry about activity. I've had problems with my internet (read:had none), using a friend's atm which I probably won't have access to again. Mine should be switched back on on the 10th and I have that day off work so I'll be able to do a full catch up (the 10th by EST+10 time I think).

In the mean time a few thoughts;

- If we do have multiple serial killers then we've been pretty unlucky with them not targetting each other over so many kills.
- I wouldn't rule out the possibility of lynchers / fools at this stage. All we've seen is town.
- The Fircoal case is note-worthy and I look forward to hearing his response.
- The shield cop-claim from yesterday is also interesting and surprising that he wasn't off'd if he was indeed a cop. Though he is away on vacation and we don't really have time to wait for him to get back.
- I'm still not sure what to think about Tal's posting. Though I have been getting a few good chuckles out of it.

Other than that I can't see anything off a quick read. Will be back on the 10th with (hopefully) an epic case.

Um? I had some thoughts on chu already. Is this not good enough for you Saf? Must I prove myself to your refractory character at every turn? the percolation you seek of myself is an impossible task.

Well it'a about time there management. Talk about your sorry excuse for an apology though. Your 6 sentences of half heart felt words won't bring back those guests. Also I saw no mention as to how you are going to fill up the audience for my suppossed preformance, when/if it's going to happen. Also, the free booze has been nice but on the rare occasions I sober up and grace you all with my presence, I realize we are all still in trouble and inept managment is still in charge. So, here and now I offically rescind my offer to by this deplorable excuse for a resort. Guests dying off, staff who can't read/write/work/and follow orders properly, fairly absent managment, and multiple killers in the area; yes, I'm good. You can keep this hell hole. Now before I leave for the night ad barricade myself in my room with my many possesions that you can only all dream to one day own, I would like to here from Fircoal. We cannot afford to ly ch inactives if we can at all help it so hope the prod will get him in here to say something. Now, if you'll excuse me, my minibar awaits.

I do not have a lead... However, if your claim is true, you can do whatever you want without general consensus. I don't think it's a good idea, but use your powers if it's what you think is best for the town.

Yes, but we have a rather thin margin for error here, and shield did say he was going to be on vacation, although with only 4 days till deadline, I need to make a decision rather quickly.

It's very weak, especially since he hasn't given us anything useful. But there still is 4 days, so a chance we can hear from oters before you decide to pull the trigger. Just give it another 48 real hours before finally deciding.

Exactly why I'm concerned. He claimed cop, said he found me innocent (not hard since I already claimed), and he wasn't killed. Which makes it possibly some sort of fakeclaim. List of investigations and results at this point.

It would be a big risk for scum not to kill a claimed cop. It just wouldn't make sense, especially with a dead paramedic (I would guess the only doctor for balance). I'd prefer to hear from Shield before we create any wagon on him though.

Yeah, that. Other than that, I think the Fircoal lead is the only one we've got atm.

Alright do we want me to vig fircoal or just lynch him? Deadline in about 2 days here, and shield has some explaining to do too.
