I'm not sure that next year exactly is the best time tho, since there did seem to be some clash with the Cup...
I'm not really actually sure when the right time would actually be tho, since the final round for CC starts in October, and the CL actually starts in September (and is still not even over yet.)
I just think that perhaps the start-date for this one and the reason for relatively few participation was that some clans were essentially running triple-duty, alongside any other clan wars they had...

There is always a conflict somewhere. Clan league in the fall through early winter. Cup during the spring. Summer is usually not a good time to run things. Thus I try to slot in as the clan league finishes up before the Cup gets rolling. Was a little later starting this year and realize that some conflict is inevitable and also have to deal with clans who come off the cup etc and say, we need a break, but from what the general clan scheduling seems to be a Jan/Feb type of start seems to be best here unless you have better suggestions.
