Bob for chrome

Post by Nefatari »

I see it supports chrome but when I installed the script it didn't do anything. Is there a link to install another one for chrome?

That's a bit short and misinformed. If you click the normal install-link for BOB in chrome, it should ask you if you want to install the extension and mention on which pages it wants to be active. Press ok 2 times, and it should be installed. You can check through the extensions-page in chrome (chrome://extensions/ works).
I just checked with a new chrome-install, and it still seems to work for me. Does it show up on the extensions-page (version 5.1.5)?

5.1.5 does not instal on chrome ion this computer, but 5.1.4 does.

some update you made between 5.1.4. and 5.1.5 must have gone wrong.

Strange, BOB seems to work at my computer (windows 7, latest chrome version or max os x, latest chrome version). Anything special about your computer?

not that i know of, it just runs on windows XP and it's some old piece of junk but for some reason when i try to instal 5.1.5 or upgrade to 5.1.5 on that one, it claims to run into 'invaled header' and just refuses to install. 5.1.4 works fine tho.

to make it even stranger, this computer here also uses chrome (runs vista tho) and never had any problem with 5.1.5 at all.
