Interesting, any special mechanics you have?Anarkistsdream wrote:Fair enough... I'm a governor. There hasn't been anything for me to govern, as of yet, so I am mostly freaking pointless.

I hesitate to fully agree with this just for the sheer fact that there are a lot of involved roles in this game. I'm ok with it as long as we all remain subjective to what people claim, I just don't want us all flipping and voting one person because some part of their role mechanic seems off. Just be careful with this all.safariguy5 wrote:So I admit to killing Fircoal, someone killed DoomYoshi, and we've had some nightkills. I've claimed vig, still skeptical of shield, although bartender can make some sense. In my mind, we're the only two who have claimed. I think we probably need a massclaim at this point, so why don't you get the ball rolling?Anarkistsdream wrote:At this point, we know Saf has a DK ability... Is this sounding about right to everyone?

I'm more concerned about submarining we may have as well, this game thread doesn't seem to be very active at all.

Nice for scum to say... Makes it easier to make a believable claim...Haggis_McMutton wrote:I've got some info that might verify/contradict some people's claims. That's why I was waiting.
I want some more people to claim before I do.

With the position town is in, I'm going to take the risk of looking scummy if it means I might be able to catch someone in a lie.Anarkistsdream wrote:Nice for scum to say... So you you get to investigate everyone or just one out of the crowd at the bar? And I don't understand why you wouldn't investigate Com9 last night, some information is better than no information.[/quote]safariguy5 wrote:So we just have to wait for night. But this gives me an idea. Everyone who's town will post after the night scene. That way, my investigation will sure to come up town. (wink, wink, wink, triple wink: just go with me on this one)
To be honest, I've been suspecting Safari playing a smart day town vig card from the start (even his abilities can be more useful to the scum), but I thought that no one would go with me. I'm not 100% convinced, but I do have quite a few strong reasons to believe that he might be scum.Anarkistsdream wrote:At this point, we know Saf has a DK ability... Name? Additional information that goes with that role? Could you stop your own lynch (and would the game still be day/nigh)? (Just read your next post, but please still give the name)Anarkistsdream wrote:Fair enough... I'm a governor. Clearing a townie is easy when you're mafia, and shield did seem to try pretty hard to get me to target him with my heightened perception ability yesterday. Not the best case, but the play is just off to be a cop.

Yeah, I'm just dumbfounded by the fact that a cop wouldn't investigate everyone he could. Maybe it's just bad play by shield, but if he comes up mafia, we really should pressure Com9 hard tomorrow.ShaggyDan wrote:While I do think it is suspicious that a cop wouldn't investigate someone when given the chance, I also think that a fakeclaim wouldn't admit to this fact but rather just make up an investigation. That said, I guess with the time left we should go with occam's razor. Also Mr. Squirrel came up as a psyhcic which I thought was a cop flavour?
Unvote and vote Shield

aage wrote:Never trust CYOC or pancake.
Yes, but we don't know whether or not it's true, so it's a moot point. You can't game the mind of mafia to try and predict what they're going to do. Still, it's very questionable cop play to not investigate when given the opportunity, so it completely warrants the vote.evilchaos wrote:WIFOM means that it's questionable, not that it's untrue. WIFOM points are still points. Coupled with my first point, it's enough for a vote.
