Hi, I noticed about 3 years ago there was a bit of headway made at building a Gotham City map, which apparently succumbed to the busy schedule of the prospective creator. Anyway, the proposed No Man's Land Comic-based map of Gotham City turns out to be the same basic map used for subway routes and "fan addresses" in the viral marketing campaign for the Dark Knight. About two years ago, I made a map based off of this one but with some significant changes and beta tested it several times with my friends to where the continent bonuses were starting to get good. What's neat about this project is assuming copyright issues could be approved/avoided, is that it might be able to be finished in time for next summer's Dark Knight Rises, sure to be another blockbuster.
Bad thing for me as a potential cartographer is that I've lost the original and now don't have access to the high-powered Mac and corresponding Adobe CS3 that I had the first time around, but I'd certainly be able to cobble something together on Paint if that would be acceptable. Would be perrfect to have ready for next summer for a movie many are sure to see.
