Tbh, I'm used to playing with friends irl where we start off with night. I honestly don't think that randomly lynching someone is fair. I actually just learned in an rt game that voting No Lynch is apparently Mafia-esque :o

I'll still keep it up though.

Well, can you say what would be gained off no lynching right now?
nagerous wrote:Can you explain to me your vote on DoomYoshi then?
I'm quite curious about that too.
But... It was so artistically done.

I voted for DoomYoshi before I read the first rules in the OP saying we could vote No Lynch. This is actually the first game I've played where I knew I could vote that. I'm not sure if it's standard rules or not, but if it is I've missed out on quite a bit.

BUT FINE, SINCE THIS IS CAUSING SUCH A COMMOTION,

unvote vote Victor for having TOO MUCH COWBELL!

If I wouldn't have switched, people would keep thinking I'm Mafia because I had voted No Lynch. I voted Victor because 1) I had to switch and 2) If I chose someone that had a lot of votes, that would have seemed scummier, right?

P.S. I need to learn the givens and rules of thumb for this game :(

And once again..people are picking on the newbie for a no lynch. I have been in a few games where at least one person suggested no lynch and lived trought it....granted, we never choose no lynch XD

Give the new guy a slack, I guess he knows now that vote switching, bandwagonning and no lynch is scummy.

Unvote

For bandwagonning on the easy lynch.

You had a point, but rds just admitted that his vote was a conscious choice specifically to not look scummy. My vote stands. I want a claim.

Doesn't everyone in the game make conscious votes to not look scummy (unless other 3rd party)? Obviously, no one wants to look scummy, so a corollary of "He's trying to not appear scummy, FOS!" doesn't really make sense.

I'll only make my claim if it becomes absolutely necessary. Right now, you're reasoning for demanding one is pretty weak, and I'd say it makes you look scummy.

RD isn't new enough for that to be forgiven easily. I have played several games with him by this point. I think it is an unconscious slip up, and that he has ulterior motives to desire a night phase.

Lies. This is the first casual mafia game I've ever played. I've never played an rt mafia with you in chat, and out of the (I think 2) RT forum games I've played, I only remember you in one of them. I think now that you're lying to get me out because you're either forgetful of mafia.

FOS.

Well, with 2+ rts games in you...I shall take back my new player statement.

And you should know by now that, if you no lynch vote was going to get so much attention on you, the least worst ( I know, gramatically incorect ) thing you could have done is purely unvote..

I won't place my vote on you, yet. I still feel like Dubbin was bandwagonning on the easy target. Oh and Rodion is always scum ( I have to say that, I just have XD )

Rodion just taught me what FOS and WIFOM were (kind of, I'm still not sure exactly what WIFOM stands for, but that it implies circular logic or something).

Anyway, I see that I should have just unvoted now. Not used to games lasting days+ for a single day :P
(Also, the one rt I was eliminated first night, so stil not that seasoned)

Vote rds

The defence has put forward has not impressed me, he seems to desire moving the game on as fast as possible and his no lynch vote directly contradicted his previous vote. I don't believe that he didn't know that he couldn't vote no lynch. From what I saw from rt live chat mafias, he gave an aura of confidence that he knew what he was doing. That and his hunger to move the game through the day phase as quick as possible means he is deserving of my vote.

I've got to say, I'm not particularly fond of the vote hopping going on here.
