shouldn't the same person that did the other stamps work on the new one too?
unless we blatantly copy at least part of the current design we'll end up with a totally different stamp and that would be bad.
all these stamps form a set and in a set consistency is very important.

It's nice that they want to do a competition, but it would be nice to be consistent. Didn't gimil create the originals? He's back on CC, maybe he could create one here and we could all vote for that one...

I'm pretty sure McDonald's has as strong a hold on the intellectual property of the likeness of Ronald McDonald as DC Comics has on the likeness of Superman. Whether that is copyright or trademark or something else, I couldn't say.

And it may not be officially a copyright, but there are registries where clowns record their makeup in an effort to remain unique. By tradition, the makeup is drawn on an eggshell.
