Thank you, TOFU, for the challenging games I was privileged to be a part of! From the agonies of defeat (I may have a bit of a complex about rail maps now) to the soaring heights of ecstasy (and shock) at our dice in one particular game, it was quite an interesting introduction to the world of clan warfare...

And just for Si... Meow? Tentative paw reaches out, claws carefully retracted...

I agree with Denise; mixing it up sounds like fun; if anyone needs an extra teammate, I'm interested...

I'm a big softie for cats - I've got three lazing around the house in the hot, humid Hong Kong summer. Add to that two big dogs and a rather large tortoise I found two days ago whilst out running in the countryside (yeah....we have lots of green here believe it or not) and it's a proper menagerie when coupled with my boisterous teenagers.

The tortoise has to go back though - he's not a happy camper in our back garden and one of my dogs thinks he's a crusty meat pie. I really only brought him home to show the kids.

Cats being cats they simply didn't give a hoot.

That paints quite a picture. What's the difference between a tortoise and a turtle? In my experience they are very mean and have terrible dispositions. I guess who can blame them though, being tossed into a strange garden to become a dogs chew toy, and all.

I'm sure some of the other TOFUers will be keen once they drag their asses out of bed.

Turtles (once hatched) scurry to the water on flippers and remain there. Tortoises on the other hand are land dwellers, can grow very large, and have legs and feet resembling a small elephant's.

And yes, both can bite - especially turtles. The snapping turtle can remove a pinky!

(why do I know so much about these creatures? I don't even like them very much. Thanks Discovery Channel I guess. I'm a huge nature/documentary buff).

just rainy by where i am at school but it is supposedly quite bad where my family is...everything is fine as of now with the family though so no worries.

A lot of wind and rain. A little flooding (but thankfully none at my house). No major damage by me. Power was out for a little over an hour. When I spoke to jj3044 earlier, his power was out as well. He was playing Risk.
